So, while at the grocery store, doing normal things and getting groceries, I felt phantom claws. Nothing weird. Except that they were dragon claws. And also teeth. And a tail. So that’s weird. I mean, I don’t think I’m a dragon. But if I am a dragon, I’m some kind of undead/cyborg/steampunk dragon-thing. So I’ll probably be up all night thinking about this new discovery. So, you know, normal things that go on in my brain.

Another toad found outside my apartment. I didn’t see very many in the summertime, so I’m glad to be seeing them again. This little one had to be carefully relocated to prevent my dog from getting to it. Thankfully, no one got hurt.

Side note: if you have to hold an amphibian, do not do so first very long. The oils on your skin can harm them, and they breathe through their skin. And always wash your hands after handling one as well, of course. And if it’s brightly colored, it’s best not to touch it at all, as it may be poisonous. Generally, don’t touch wild animals unless you have no other choice. Most toads are actually poisonous, so don’t let your pets bite or lick them, for everyone’s sake
