Malachai Boardman headcanons

1) Malachai is very hyperfixated with weaponry.

2) Malachai knocks people over by hugging them.

3) Malachai tackles and wrestles people to show affection.

4) Malachai also gives people slow and soft punches to show affection.

5) Malachai hates bugs and would rather gobble up glass than touch or/and be near one.

6) Malachai's father is in a shooting club

7) Personally knows how to cook, self-taught.

8) Malachai is basically a walking storage room, can and will carry anything.

9) Malachai used to work half-time at the cafe in the opening scene. (My favorite headcanon)

10) Malachai's favorite color is blue and green. Any shade.

11) Malachai's favorite flavor is green apple/sour grapes. (Isaac introduced him to the sour grapes flavor)

12) Malachai's machete is basically a family heirloom.

I think Children of the Corn is inspired by the Children of God cult, which is still (I think, but hopefully not) active to this day. Usually leaders of cults would be the gods. But David Berg was the prophet like Moses. The cult was entirely about sex, which is comical because of the highly religious sounding name. Atleast, I think it was entirely about intercourse.

I'm about to cry from this revelation.
