so i was watching enchanted yesterday and i noticed some little details so i thought i'd share because i love this movie a lot

when giselle is looking at the fishtank in roberts workplace, the motif from part of your world plays! specifically the melody of "up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun". it's such a cute little easter egg, especially when Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel, plays the receptionist in the scene!

then this scene. i might be wrong but it feels like a callback to the sound of music? or at least these two shot heavily remind me of each other! it also reminded me a lot of this scene from beauty and the beast!

on the topic of beauty and the beast, paige o'hara (the original voice of belle) also has a cameo!

finally, narissa really reminded me of gothel in terms of character design. i know tangled came way after enchanted, but i wouldn't be surprised if she was a source of inspiration for gothel

hello! i really really hate clothes shopping (when i do it in person, i get overwhelmed bc of crowded areas, and not liking how i look in changing rooms. when i do it online it’s the fact that things rarely ever fit and im like an old granny with sending packages back etc). so i was wondering if anyone who likes shopping has any tips on how to not start tweaking the moment im in a clothes store? i’m supposed to be going to a black tie event on the 27th and ive been going to so so many shops and looking online every day for a dress and nothing looks good or right😭 tomorrow im going to go out and try to find a dress again but im just dreading it because its always so hellish
