"Chat Noir Is A Slut" Jokes Are Funny, But Like, I'm Gonna Need Everyone To Recognize That What Nino
"Chat Noir is a slut" jokes are funny, but like, I'm gonna need everyone to recognize that what Nino said and did at one of his lowest points in the show is not indicative of any actual feelings that he holds toward Chat Noir, and holding him to that episode is really getting not-funny for people who like him.

Agreed
Now Iâll admit Iâm biased bc Iâve been writing and RPing Towa Higurashi for well over a year now and thatâs just how I interpreted her feelings but
Iâm really glad that while Yashahime makes it clear that despite the fact heâs emotionally constipated and extremely stoic and doesn'tâ really make facial expressions beyond amused or annoyed that he does genuinely love his daughters and wife to death, but also that Towa has well deserved resentment for how he went about things.
I get why he did the things he did. I know he gets a lot of flak for it but I get it from a fictional character perspective, and how different he is from both Inuyasha and Souta in personality. But just because he felt he acted in Towaâs and Setsunaâs best interest does not necessarily mean that was the right way to do things- and I am not here to debate if it was ârightâ or âwrong,â but the fact is Towa and Setsuna went through a lot without their father being there.
Iâm not here to start debating if he was right or wrong even though I have my own personal feelings- but even the great Lord Sesshomaru is not infallible, and while I wish they had talked about this a bit more throughout the show, even though both Towa and Setsuna seem to love and care for their father now at the end of everything that doesnât change they have a right to question how their father went about things and whether or not it was for the better or not. One of the wishes I would have for any kind of continuation would be to address this even more, I would genuinely love it if Towa and Setsuna could have a sincere talk with their father about what they felt were misgivings in how he went about their upbringing.
I love the man but- theyâre teenage girls who went through so much shit with really very few allies beyond their cousin who could consistently help them. They have a right to be bitter about it! Just because they love their father doesnât mean they have to believe h did everything right, and in turn Sesshomaru isnât off the hook inherently just because he goes about things a specific way to ensure theyâd be strong and independent. I would not be surprised if Toga and Inukimi raised him that way, but that doesnât mean that is what was right for his own kids.
It was just a really interesting thing I didnât expect to get brought up in the finale! It made me as a Towa writer really happy. I really hope if thereâs a continuation in any capacity they can finally fucking talk about these things. Towa and Setsuna deserve to be able to speak to their father about their frustrations with him, and as their father who loves them he should listen to those frustrations and address them.
For the most part I agree but I feel this is the beginning of something new where al, the characters can learn something and improve on the kind of person they were, my thoughts pretty much summed up in this post.
Not Gonna Lie, even though the conflict resolution wasn't my favorite, this episode was really sweet. I just loved how they went about things.
I know some people have been disappointed in how Towa and Setsuna question Sesshoumaru's intentions, but to me it was perfect. They SHOULD question him! Its their right, heck its literally their birthright to know! It would have been strange if they just accepted everything. We the audience know Sesshoumaru had his hands tied and was working for Kirinmaru and Zero while trying to keep his family alive, but the girls don't really get it. And that's fine. As long as they're together now, they can begin to work on that relationship.
And honestly, like a lot of people have said, Sesshoumaru is Sesshoumaru. He isn't human, he doesn't feel or care the way a lot of demons do. He really does live on another plane of existence, and its only been extremely recently that he's become more emotional and has bonded with people. Rin is literally the first person he really gave a shit about, and now its his daughters. Like, it makes sense to me. Even though I complained that they should have shown him hugging his family -- I get it. Sesshoumaru gets a huge has prize for putting up with ridiculous odds for the past 14 years, but now, he has to start doing Normal Dad Stuff, and its going to be tough. At the end of the day though, its all going to be Daijoubu.
I loved the twins conversation with Rin. It was so pure and adorable. I loved how Rin made the decision to give them the kimonos and you could hear the excitment in her voice that she couldn't wait to see them wear it! I like that the twins knew immediately that it was expensive. Also, I love how Rin told them she experienced death. In a way, Tenseiga helped form this family, since they all share a bond with it.
Re: shipping and stuff: I really like Riku and Towa's reunion! I do think I would have preferred if he stayed dead, I feel like it would have been more realistic, but I enjoyed how Towa scared Riku shitless. LOL.
With Hisui and Setsuna, I could take it or leave it, but I appreciate the open endedness of it. I'm glad in general they didn't try to shove in the romance and let Yashahime be more about family and sisterhood. Also I enjoy men being the ones fawning over their love interests!!
Overall, a very cute and adorable finale. I'm gonna miss this show!!
something I want to point out about season 5:
there was that whole subplot in season 4 about âunlocking more powers with your miraculousâ. Alya discovered it was possible, told Ladybug about it, Ladybug started making charms, and those charms inspired Hawkmoth to try to test his own powers and ended up making megakumasâŠâŠ and nothing really happened with that. I mean, you could write the charms and megakumas out of the show and not really anything would change⊠But now, Hawkmoth has every other miraculous, and is aware that âthe limits of a miraculousâ power are meaninglessâ so like⊠that whole subplot could have been to set up how heâll use the miraculouses in season 5.
I canât even predict what heâs gonna do with them, because the powers that they have may be twisted and modified to however he sees fit to use them. scary
(also letâs not forget that adults donât have timers on their transformations, so he can spam the powers as much as he wants and aaaaaaaaaaaaa)
OMG
Oh wow, it's almost like Felix has been associated with balls since the beginning
Not gonna lie, i wish Rinâs reunion with the twins was made a bit more emotional with more build up đ„ș i wanted all the feels đ
