Valentine was super pissed when he blew up on her (especially after his comments whenever they passed each other) and him bringing Fig into the argument with the threat of expulsion over what she thought at the time was a simple room that a trio of mates practiced spells in.later she understood why Ominis was so angry,she actually shows him the ror to ‘level the field’ so to speak.she has a specific corner for him to chill,nap or do homework whenever he wants/needs.

Ancient Magic is almost like it’s own semi-sentient force that Ambrose has a connection to and manipulate, like casters in book. Ancient Magic is everywhere, Ambrose just happens to be one of the few that can affect it and use it

Everett also has a connection to Ancient Magic, but can’t manipulate it, it just strengthens his connection with magic in certain areas

Near telepathic connection with Beasts. can even talk to more intelligent beasts.

Can see Ancient Magic but not always traces, ex. he can see the Repository and when Ambrose uses it but would not have seen the glow around the portkey or on the map

He can't literally speak languages like mermish and gobledegook but understands it when a merperson or goblin speak it to him and they'll understand him speaking English back as if he was speaking their language

Can also speak to animals like hippogriffs, unicorns, dragons, and thestrals (if anyone wants a full list just ask)

Terrifyingly powerful and instinctful fire spells, to the point of instability. Can affect fires and light spells nearby when emotion, and when particularly scared or angry can manifest powerful fire

Can cast spells like confringo nonverbally and slightly lesser spells like incendio wandlessly AND nonverbally by the end of first year, can cast fiendfyre by third

I also want to point out this picture by @phinik

It shows Solomon directly destroying the Shrivelfig in front of her. Almost like he’s showing her. Now remember, Anne was excited about this. She even says to Sebastian when he presents it to her, “is that what I think it is?” Meaning that this gift obviously meant something to her.

The Shrivelfig supposedly has healing methods if I’m remembering correctly. So I wonder if it gave Anne some kind of relief during one of her attacks. Instead of letting her just have it he destroys it right in front of her. Not only that but he looks directly at her and says “nothing can” in reference to her curse being cured.

Solomon definitely had it out for Sebastian, but the way he treated Anne makes me wonder if he was the same way towards her. Look at her face in that picture, she looks so defeated. She looks as if the hope she has is being taken away from her, and let’s be honest, it is.
