Will You All Cease To Respect Me As A Serious Grown-up Person If I Admit This Is My Favourite Disney
Will you all cease to respect me as a serious grown-up person if I admit this is my favourite Disney love story?
P.S. I am such an animation geek for this film, it's a story that REALLY benefits from the animated medium.

I realised you tumblefolk never saw my first (so far only) attempt at animation! In 1st year we had an animation module, and this was my final piece. I was so pleased with it, I did the whole thing frame-by-frame and largely freehand.
I had to make a new youtube account recently 'cause of google taking over everything and that meaning it turned the email address into a new google account and logging me out of my normal one every time I logged in on youtube and AUGH I HATE THE INTERNET- so it seemed like a good time to share it again.
Also, if I had the time and money I'd genuinely love to do a second degree and train as an animator. I'm a huge animation geek, I'd love to learn how to do it properly even though I'd never use it for anything. Some of my favourite illustrators and comic artists trained in animation, I think I could learn some fascinating things.
I'll add that to my list of things I'd like to do if I won the lottery and lived in a magical land where I ride a unicorn to work every morning, haha.
Ta da! This is one of the commissions I've been working on. It's a logo and some decorative images for Kingsley's Cakes, a sweet little independent bakery. The image at the top is ever so slightly different from the one I used eventually, I took out a few of the finer details so it would look better when shrunk onto a business card and such. Below that are some other pictures that should be going to decorate a new website. This is the first time someone has commissioned digital work from me, I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
As a bonus feature, there's also some of the preliminary sketches. I thought it would be sweet to dress the mascot character in clothes based on some cake flavours, specifically cinnamon and ginger, rose and pistchio and mint chocolate. I was having so much fun I designed a bell-dress and a shift-dress for each one. The final design is a slightly different version of the rose and pistachio theme.
'Tis the day for the whole internet to be covered in pink and red! However I went with mostly green. I made these as a present for my friend Nam, of the Nambots, who is a big fan of the Legend of Zelda, much like myself.
Also if you want to show how much you love me and Lily, you could buy a copy of What's the Time, Mrs. Woolf? through our new online shop! The second issue came out in January, and the first is still in stock.
As I've been so quiet this month I thought you'd like to see something. This is a Christmas card I designed for my Mum to use this year. I doodle angels all the time (especially in church) so I'm most proud of the star in the middle. Mum wanted one that incorporated the Star of David and a seven-point star, and I hardly specialised in geometric design so I'm pretty pleased with how it came out.
I've been soooo busy lately, what with Thought Bubble, making What's the Time, Mrs Woolf?, doing commissions, Sketchavember, applying for a million proper jobs and having horrible colds, so I haven't had much to put online. Some of the commissions are almost done though, so hopefully I can show you what I've been doing all this time! Rest assured that at the end of this month I can at least show you my Sketchavember pictures, so you can all get acquainted with 30 of my own characters and laugh at how shaky my grasp of anatomy becomes when I draw late at night.
Seriously, it's pretty bad. It's like I forget that shoulders and hips are real body parts.
