Yusss A Fun Time Was Had By All! Even Accidentally Dying Behind The Table Couldn't Stop Us.
Yusss a fun time was had by all! Even accidentally dying behind the table couldn't stop us.
Please come and see us in Cheltenham if you can! We'll be launching the Autumn issue of What's the Time, Mrs Woolf? as well as bringing the various comics and trinkets you see in these photos.

We had a brilliant time at our first October event! The Bristol Comic and Zine Fair!! Thank you very much to everyone who came by our table for a chat or to buy comics. We hope you enjoyed the free mini comics.
We’ll be doing the same thing next weekend at The University of Gloucestershire’s Small Press Fair. The event will be held in a marquee in the Imperial Square, Cheltenham. The Literature Festival is being held at the time, so there should be more to see than just the fair.
And remember the secret password for free mini comics is ‘Do you have a business card?’
Thanks!! 8D

Inktober - Day 6
I got a bit carried away on this one. I thought 'I haven't inked anything with gel pens yet this Inktober,' and then 'I should draw more backgrounds too!' and failed to realised that I'd just decided to cross-hatch a full illustration until I'd already done the line art and was trapped!
Louise is skulking around her creepy old house.
Hmm... I wonder if I can get my cross-hatching to look like this.

He heard the birds talking above him.

Inktober - Day 7
This one is based on what one of my colleagues imagines my home life is like.
I've used this technique for concept art in the past. It amounts to doing a sketch with a brush pen, trying to shade it with a smaller pen, then hating it and just scribbling on it and putting water all over it until it looks vaguely acceptable. It usually ends up... adequate.

The Original Russian Animation of “The Snow Queen”
Wow, the animation was so fluid, I thought it was CGI. But this is traditional animation from 1957!!
This is what I was hoping Frozen would be like, before they called it Frozen. Disney why?
