Dp you have any good source for clothes and fabric?
Oh yes! I have a few snippets randomly posted in here throughout the years (should be under clothing reference or fabric reference tag), but one of my favorite resources for a lot of design related things is Visual Library! Among the huge selection they provide, they have sections dedicated to clothing by type and style. The only downfall is that all the references here are drawn ones and not images taken from life. I have yet to find a good reference library for live photo references of fabric types and how they drape and fold. My solution for that has been to create what I needed from materials I had at home and take photos myself when I've needed to see how something drapes or falls. Plenty of live references for naked poses out there, which I can understand, but we need to know how to draw clothed people, too! I will reblog this with an update if I ever find a nice resource for a variety of live fabric types.

I have a question about your art.đ
The white streaks that make your paintings look older - how do you do that?
Is that a brush or some kind of paper texture?đ (I hope you know what I meanđ )
Love your work!! Huge fan!
hi! i think you mean the cracked varnish effect (craquelure)? it's a brush and it's part of this set

hope that helps! and thank you so much! đ„°

my edit of @gladiolusly 's group meme (original here) which is exactly what I was looking for, thank you....

People often say to me: âYou draw like some kind of inhuman machine. If I eat your brain, will I gain your power?â The answer is yes, but there is another way. The key to precise drawing is building up muscle memory so that your arm/hand/fingers do the things you want them to do when you want them to do them. Teaching yourself to draw a straight line or to make sweet curves is just a matter of practice and there are some exercises you can do to help improve. If youâre going to be doodling in class or during meetings anyway, why not put that time to good use?

Creative Writing Tarot Spread
Writers block bogging you down? Use this 7-card spread to help jumpstart your creativity! This prompt can help you generate a very basic storyline.
First, pull a character card! Decide for yourself what this means: will your character carry the traits of the positive meanings of this card? Will your characterâs conflicts be brought about by the cardâs negative meanings? Will your character look like the figure depicted on the card? Will they wield the item depicted on the card? (Note: if your story has multiple main characters, you may wish to pull a card for each)
Next, pull the plot cards! Pull a card for the beginning of your story, a card for the middle, and a card for the end. Again, let yourself decide what this means. Do these cards describe your characterâs emotional state(s) as the story progresses? Do these cards describe internal or external conflicts? Do these cards represent other characters your MC will meet along the way?
Finally, pull your meat cards! These cards are the âmeatâ of your story. Pull one card for the main or most important setting of your story, one card for the main conflict, and one card for the resolution of that conflict.
Have fun with it! Remember that these cards are just tools, and this spread is simply to kickstart your brain. If you get halfway through the spread and come up with something on your own, or if you start writing and realize your plot is deviating from what the cards gave you, donât stress about it! You write for yourself, not for the cards. Thank them for their help and continue on with your own imagination.

How to Draw a Damn Fine Ass Top Image, Row 5 & 6 Row 2:  Drawing People by Barbara Bradley Row 3 Row 4 Row 5 Bottom Image

Some crying tips. Iâm pretty bored of seeing movies with clean crying, but wow itâs by no means clean. Itâs gross and messy and just downright fun to draw.

this was gonna be a tutorial and i guess it still is but if anything itâs just a really long and drawn out âessayâ on drawing people with epicanthic folds. one of my biggest pet peeves is people drawing asian people exclusively with the same type of eye theyâd give white people or anyone else who typically doesnât have the fold! however i know that most people are taught with the standard white person eye (google image search for âeyeâ and itâll all be pictures of white peopleâs eyes) so learning to draw epicanthic folds is a consciously learned thing.Â
therefore i bring you this, which attempts to break the mechanics of epicanthic folds down into something thatâs a bit easier to digest and implement in your own art!Â
style can be argued i guess but itâs not that hard to stylize eyes with folds if you do proper observation and research. eyes with epicanthic folds are as diverse as eyes without so itâs not like you have to adhere to a strict model for them (although many people think that you have to) and all it takes to distinguish the two in stylized art (and even in semi/realism once you think about it) is a few lines! like i said this is a learned process but itâll make your asian characters (and characters of other races even) a bit more interesting and believable.
im sorry to ask, but i was wondering if you may show us how to draw abs please?

I STILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO DRAW OK looking abs HHahA SOBS AND LIES DOWN but yeah!! GO LOOK AND Some real life abs i promise you itâll be ten times more helpful than my crude doodles!!
