Aliens with feline characteristics are SUCH a guilty pleasure for me. Eyes that dilate when they spot their favorite crewmate, the tendency to sneak up from behind and pounce on top of you, purring when you start to laugh and fight back.

Even if you're both busy all they need is a few slow blinks back and forth to get through the day. Don't get too affectionate though, they're not above asking you for pets in front of your coworkers.

Often Thought As As A Race Of Lurkers, The "Grays" Are Said To Be Perverse, Alien Peeping Toms Who Spy

Often thought as as a race of lurkers, the "Grays" are said to be perverse, alien peeping Toms who spy and spy and spy until their invasion of human privacy isn't enough to satisfy them from afar. It is always only a matter of time before these galactic creeps are said to abduct, violate, and even dissect our friends, family and neighbors, all for the sake of their fiendish curiosity. They are our enemies, as it's told by popular human lore -- an advanced society of dubious science-freaks whose only concern is for that of acquiring information. They are often portrayed as emotionless, psychic, and meticulous in their misadventures between stars -- inhuman villains with little more than an undefined awareness of the pain they inflict on others. But I now better. I know the truth of this wandering predator. The truth is, these creatures -- these tyrants of technology and math -- are far, far worse than the stories that are told. They are not cold and apathetic; they are purposeful and sadistic. It is not knowledge they seek; it is superiority through the inflation of their ravenous egos. These Zeta Reticulans...they are not a people but a gang of interstellar psychopaths who were banned from their own world and cast into the void. There are tens of thousands of them, all prisoners by way of excommunication, condemned to wander amongst the stars in search of the next world they can molest simply to make themselves feel alive. I know this because I know better. I know that no technologically advanced species would set out to purposely cause pain and incite fear. No. We have been very, very wrong about these "Zeta Reticulans"... They are not studying us, and they are not just too advanced to consider us worth their concern. That is a moronic assumption uttered by idiots who know no other logic than that which they've absorbed from 1950s Hollywood. No. These creatures... They know exactly what they are doing. And that's exactly why they are doing it. There is no making piece with criminals whose greatest pleasure is to see you suffer. There is only pain, and angst, and terror. That is, until that day when the tables will turn. That day when our technology is a match for theirs, and we can spot them coming from an AU away. We will pluck them from the space that has become their prison and drag them into the Hell they deserve; a Hell on Earth where their consciousness will be locked into a state of misery, their bodies slowly withering under the ocean in isolation barracks built for their torture. And they are long lived, it is said. Long enough so to be sufficiently punished for the crimes they have committed. Because what other punishment would suit a predator of entire worlds other than eons of unrelenting comeuppance? And that day will come. It will come on a storm of merciless revenge that will turn a heartless predator to the helpless victim.
