Flowers that Speak Poetry
Pairing: BTS Seokjin ⇆ Reader
Genre: Fluff | Angst | Smut | Alien | Childhood friends | Tattoo artist |
Summary: Butterflies are one thing, but flowers and butterflies bring prosperity. The Butterfly, a servant to the Flower Inn, home to Anemonas of Anisum, was your home and it was all you knew. However, home for you lied across the yard into the next. In the shadows, Jin painted with needles on bodies, but for you, he painted with brushes butterflies on your skin. Like the butterflies, your heart fluttered when you were with him, but he always called you a child and treated you often as such. However, will your heart always be able to flutter when another offers to buy you from the Inn?

A/N: Story inspired by the story Mademoiselle Butterfly by Ogura Akane but with its own twist. I’ve read this story when I was younger, and it’s been a favorite for a long time, so I wanted to pay homage to it. I really recommend you read the story after you read this, please. I’m sorry for the delayed release AND GOING UP UNEDITED. Header image edited by me, but I don’t own the photo. Thank you for reading!

Unceremoniously the wooden screen door slid open, rattling gently as you peered inside inconspicuously. You had heard shouts, even from within the Flower Inn, and felt the tickling need to check it out. Within the living room, the man lying, who had been making a hideous face in the light of pain, startled as he caught you suppressing a laugh. “HEY! Who are yo-ugh!” Grunting at the pain you giggled harder at his inability to complete his thoughts. “Brat, don’t laugh!” He finished that shout with a yowl as the needle pricked him deeper. You covered your mouth suffocating another chuckle.
Ironically the appearance of the customer was exactly as you predicted. He was burly, older, scared from civil battle, maybe not from the capital because of the slight tone in his scream. Human men were always the type to wail like a woman in labor while getting tattooed.
The tougher they are on the outside the weaker their inner heart is.

One thing I love about the Monster x Human dynamic is the possible misunderstandings that come with being separate species.
The possible cultural differences. The awkwardness. Language barriers. Anatomy differences. Maybe they mistake a platonic gesture as romantic or you mistake a romantic gesture from them as platonic.
Maybe you accidentally touch a merperson's gills and they immediately shy away at the unexpected touch. You freak out and apologise because you think you've hurt them while they try and hide their obvious arousal at the intimate touch.
Or an alien whose skin colour changes with their mood. You notice they're always a more reddish colour when near you. When you ask them about it they get even redder and try to make something up while their friends watch and snicker cus they know exactly what that colour means.
You playfully bite your werewolf partner while cuddling and they let out a very erotic groan. Now they have to try and explain to you what marking is to werewolves while also being very horny and embarrassed.
When you invite one of your alien crewmates to see your sleeping quarters and they're immediately intrigued by the collection of human items and knick-knacks you have spread around the room. They question everything, from the people in your photographs to the various potted plants you're trying to keep alive.
They listen intently to your every explanation, even when you have no idea what to say. It's admittedly a little tedious, trying to make your desk lamp and mechanical pencils sound interesting to the massive bug-person who won't stop staring at you. But it's sweet that they want to know more about humanity, and it's just scientific curiosity, right?
Alien partner who is constantly amazed and appalled by human biology.
You crack your Knuckles In front of them once and they look at you with the most horrified expression.
You don't react in immense pain so obviously you're fine but this poor soul thinks you actually just broke your bones out of nowhere 😭.
They can hear your heart beat and are absolutely fascinated with the way it speeds up and slows down.
They like how it speeds up when they get closer and talk lower so they do that pretty often. They like how it slows down when you go to sleep, they find the slow rhythmic thumps very soothing.
They'll constantly ask you questions about your species whenever a question pops into their head.
"What are these for?"
They gently brush your eyelashes with their finger as you lay on their chest one morning. You don't open your sleepy eyes when you respond.
"Keeps dust out of our eyes."
There's definitely a better answer you could've given but that's all you have the energy for right then and they seem to be satisfied with that.
Just imagine an alien partner who is so openly enthralled by you. They can't help but hold your cheeks and stare into your eyes, absolutely amazed.
"Do all human eyes look like yours?"
You manage to actually respond, voice soft to match theirs,
"They come in a few colours but everyone's eyes are different."
"Yours is the most beautiful colour I've ever seen."
They say while gazing into your eyes as if you hold all the stars in the galaxy in your pupils.
“Pathetic little thing, isn’t she?”
You’re on your knees in front of the two aliens, unable to say a word as one stuffs his bright blue cock down your throat. Tears burn at your eyes as he fucks your mouth, and it takes everything in your power not to gag.
It had been a full day—or so you thought—since they abducted you from Earth, a full day before they showed their true intentions.
“Oh, I don’t know,” the other says, gently running a rubbery tentacle across your breasts. He tips your chin ever so slightly so you can gaze up into his insectoid eyes. “You are doing so well, so good for us. Such a good little human.”
He was the nice one, the one that praised you while you pleasured him, at least before the other one took over.
The other one, well, he wraps a clawed hand around your neck, slamming his enormous cock down your throat as your eyes roll in the back of your head.
“She’s a little human slut is what she is. She wanted to be taken, wants us to fuck her, ruin her. Don’t you?”
And you nod, despite it all, despite the fear coursing through your veins, despite the tears rolling down your cheeks. You do want this, want to be used by your alien captors, want to be fucked until your mind is gone and all that’s left is that intricate mix of pleasure and pain.
Both aliens smile down at you, too-large grins that take up too much of their ovoid faces. Apparently, your answer pleases them, because they’re laughing at you, before the nice one scoops you up in powerful arms and takes you to the bed.

Chapter One of the not-yautja poly 'reverse harem' story I mentioned is up now on Patreon for both tiers on early release, and will be free to access in a week's time.
It's set in the same universe as Big Red's multi-chapter story, for those who enjoyed that one.
Hope you enjoy!!
An alien desires to 'court' another alien, of the race called humans. The human is desirable in every way: talented in multiple skills, professional and domestic, with soft, squishy flesh and an eagerness to learn - the alien could go on and on, but people complain when the alien talks about their 'crush', as other humans call it
The problem is, the alien's species relies on scents and pheromones for communication. Their first meeting with the human was during a crisis, and their natural scent was strong, sweat mixing with that fabled human instinct to survive with all members of their extended pack alive, too. No other human smelled quite like this one. It sent the alien's hearts a-flutter, and shivers through their many wings.
But now? The human smells different, and not in a normal human way. One week, citrus and palm fruits from the black jungles of the planet Cerib. Another week, exotic vanilla from their origin planet, with something warm and spicy the alien can't place. Lavender and honey from Blackcurrant bees. Something juicy like apples. Something this, something that, and they're all beautiful scents - but it's not the human's scent, and they can't really smell their emotions through it. Frustrating.
One day, the alien sulks, watching their desired one rush past, tablet in hand. They smell like sweetened coffee and chocolate - the latter a romantic treat to humans, and a reminder of how far they are from that romance to the alien. The human next to them breathes in the scent, and smiles.
"Man, (name's) got some great perfume on today," they say.
The alien lifts their head. "Perfume?"
A little research later, and things suddenly make sense. They'd heard about perfume before, the human wasn't the only one to wear scents, but they'd been so lovelorn they hadn't used their brain. But that wasn't important. What mattered was that humans used perfume and similar products to draw in desired partners.
Two can play at that game.
Three days later, the alien walks in to their normal location. To their surprise, the human their hearts are set on rushes towards them, calling their name.
"I'm so sorry!" They apologize. They aren't wearing any scents today. "I didn't realize my perfume might be messing with your senses. I've switched it out with another type that you'll find easier to deal with. I was just trying to..."
They trail off. The alien waits, hopeful. A new scent spikes from the human.
"Is that... Cinnamon?"
"With a little bit of Ophelion flower, and Soljoiner lemon," the alien says, smiling like the humans do. "I got inspired by your choices."
A hesitation. "Do you like it?"
The human breathes in deep. From them, now the alien can sense what they've wanted. Interest.
"You smell amazing," the human says. The glow in their eyes as they look at the alien, well, the alien adds that to their list of all the reasons they want the human as a partner.
"Are you sure you know what you're getting into?" Another alien says later, at the communal garden. "Humans are hardcore."
The alien looks across the way to the human of their hearts. They are smiling, they smell a bit like the alien now, from their hug.
"For that one? It's worth it."
Forgert the bag, clothe me in whatever when I get there!

💫 scientist and her alien gf (now wife)
They so cute!
Look at them!
I love them!
alien x reader
A blue-skinned alien with green eyes and pink hair approaches an erthling. This alien is from a far off place, where the skies are orange instead of blue. When he talks, his voice has a certain high-pitch quality to it as if his vocal cords were made of something different than a human's.
"Welcome to my ship, human!" He says, smiling, his pink teeth standing out from his blue skin.
After spending days on the alien's ship, traveling through space and getting to know him, the reader comes to find himself falling for the blue-skinned alien.
As they continue to bond, the two fall in love. They have a very passionate relationship which is completely different from how love works on Earth. This alien is from a world where love is completely unconditional, whereas the human reader is only used to love that comes alongside emotional baggage.
At first, the human is reluctant to open up to this new world. But eventually, seeing the unconditional love between him and the alien, he begins to loosen up and accept that he can be free from his past pain.
The human and the alien eventually move in together. They share a home, where they are free to express their love for one another. No more baggage, no more secrets or guilt. Just pure and unconditional love.
For years and years they live there, bonded together in love.
Eventually, the human comes to learn about an alien tradition. It is their belief that when two people can experience unconditional love with each other, the next step is to take a leap of faith into something called "eternal love".
Basically, eternal love is when two people combine into one new being, who contains both of the original person's minds, personalities, strengths, etc. It is the ultimate way to show love, because essentially the two people will be one being at all times.
The human, after hearing this, is ecstatic at the idea of eternal love.
He and the alien have a ceremony, where they are permanently fused into each other, becoming one being with two minds and personalities.
From here on out, they experience a new state of consciousness and existence which transcends mortal experience.
They are now one being. Forever.
Aliens with feline characteristics are SUCH a guilty pleasure for me. Eyes that dilate when they spot their favorite crewmate, the tendency to sneak up from behind and pounce on top of you, purring when you start to laugh and fight back.
Even if you're both busy all they need is a few slow blinks back and forth to get through the day. Don't get too affectionate though, they're not above asking you for pets in front of your coworkers.
Come and get yall juice

This is so sweet and adorable!
Imagine having a sleepover with an alien, whos species specifically only rest around those they've formed a very deep connection with. But they understand that humans are different, and they enjoy the sleepover traditions you introduce, like eating unhealthy food while gossiping about other crewmates and playing games truth or dare. There's a certain comfortable intimacy they didn't expect, you two talking and laughing late into the night like it was what you always did. They're hardly even flustered when you stretch and yawn, letting your eyes close in a subconcious display of trust.
If you suggest building a pillow fort they almost decline. You're asking them to take your personal bedding and create a nest for the two of you to share, together? You want them to sit beside you, in a den you built as one away from the rest of the universe, that smells like you and you only?? But they can't just stand there and let you make one by yourself, and they know you don't mean anything else by the gesture. But that doesn't mean they aren't trying to subtly show off how good they are at making a nest, be prepared for the most plush and inviting pillow fort you've ever experienced.
And once you're both comfortable inside with a movie and snacks, they can't deny that they don't want to leave. Knowing that you trust them enough to share in this ease, knowing that you want to be this close, regardless of why, is enough to make them fall asleep beside you without any anxiety.
Don't be surprised if they suggest you do it again. Every night.
