A House to a Home
Austin Butler x reader

a/n - request: âi donât know if youâre taking request but what about the reader & austin moving into their first house together? reader is so hellbent on unpacking and getting everything out together but someone has other ideasâ - this was such a good idea tysm! i hope you all enjoy :)

âWhere do you plan on putting these?â Austin asks, looking over at you with a handful of your knick-knacks in his hands.
âIâm not sure yet, Iâll figure it out later,â you respond as you go to open up another box.
You still canât process the fact that youâre actually moving in with him â that the two of you are owning a home together. The two of you have been dating for about a year and a half, and it was Austinâs idea that you move in with him.
He had just come back home after one of his meetings, and he had found you standing in his walk-in closet trying to figure out how to organize it. He didnât even say âhiâ to you, he just blurted out the question, causing you to turn around and give him a speechless look.Â
You were iffy at first because youâve never lived with someone else after you moved out of your parentâs house â youâve never even had a roommate so you wondered how it would be to go back to no longer living alone. You also wondered if the two of you were moving too fast. You were both adults and had been dating for long enough without too many problems, so it makes sense that Austin would want to take the next step.
But, that would mean moving into a large home in the hills of LA, where a lot of other celebrities and influencers lived. Did you belong in an area like that? Did you even deserve to live in such a nice part of LA just because you were dating a famous person, even though you yourself weren't rich or famous?
What if the two of you just happened to break up and you no longer had a place to stay?
Austin had seen the panic in your face and was quick to reassure you that you didnât have to give him an answer right that moment. That you could take all the time that you needed and he would be patiently waiting for your answer.
How could you say no to a face like that, though?
You donât say no, which is why you didnât.
âAnd this?â Austin raises an eyebrow at you, holding in a laugh as he holds up one of the stuffed animals you packed.
You playfully roll your eyes before grabbing a pillow from his bed and throwing it at his head. Austin dodges it, though, using the stuffed animal as a shield.
âPut him down,â you laugh.
âHim?â He gives you a look. âYour stuffed animal is a âhimâ?â
You continue to laugh as you walk towards him and snatch the plushie out of his hand. âWhy are you jealous?â you joke.
âOf course not, thereâs nothing to be jealous of,â Austin snickers and goes to bend down to retrieve something else out of a box, but stops when he sees you toss the stuffed animal onto his bed. âWhat are you doing?â
âHe needs a place to stay too,â you giggle as you walk into the closest to begin putting some of your clothes away.
âAnd heâll find one, just not here,â you hear his voice say from behind you, but you continue your task.
You manage to fill up the majority of your side of the closest before deciding to take a break and move onto something else. Walking out, you expect to see the bedroom with more decoration, but instead all you see is Austin on the floor, going through your box of books.
âHave you done anything in the past 45 minutes?â You ask, your hands on your hips.
âOf course I have. Iâve managed to read one page from almost all of these,â he answers, motioning to the box in front of him, âand I gotta say, some of these are a little spicy. No wonder youâre always reading.â
Your eyes widen as you quickly take the book in his hands away from him, put it inside the box with the rest, and move the box out into the hallway. Youâre an adult and you're allowed to read whatever you want, but that doesnât stop you from feeling embarrassed because some of the books are really dirty.
Austin chuckles as he watches you. âYou know, sweetheart, you donât need any of these books as your source of pleasure, thatâs what Iâm here for.â
âThatâs not what I use them for,â you mumble as you step back into the room.
âOh, really?â Austin raises an eyebrow at you, and you roll your eyes.
âYâknow, while youâre so focused on me, you could use some of that energy to actually get some of these boxes empty,â you huff, standing above another full box of items.
âBut Iâm supposed to be focused on you, am I not?â Austin asks, tilting his head in full confusion.
âHa ha, youâre so funny,â you tell him.
âAlright, alright. What do you want me to do?â Austin questions, standing up from his spot on the floor to look at the mess scattered around the bedroom floor.
âStop taking breaks, and unpack,â you emphasize, shoving a box into Austinâs chest. He stumbles back, but takes the box from your hands.
You leave him in the bedroom, heading towards the kitchen for a change of scenery â and so you donât strangle Austin.
The house is still pretty empty, except for some small things and decor. The rest of your furniture was supposed to arrive today, but everything got delayed. It had upset you at first, but hey, what can you do? Besides, this gives you a chance to fully admire the home before you completely make it yours.Â
You head into the kitchen to begin putting the dishware and kitchenware up where they belong. Surprisingly, the majority of it is Austinâs, given the fact he likes to cook, and you donât really know how.
When you come across a mug Austin had bought you while heâs out of the country on a press tour, you canât help but take a second to admire it.
You and him both know that you donât really use them and that you just like to collect them because they look pretty.
Honestly, how did you ever get so lucky with a man like him? What did he see in you all those months ago when he had seen you on set? You were part of the crew, and that day Austin had been invited on set to meet the director. Of course, you thought he was cute, but you didnât think anything could actually happen between the two of you â which is why Austin made the first move instead of you.
Youâre so lost in thought that you donât hear Austinâs footsteps enter the kitchen. You feel him come up behind you and wrap his arms around your waist, resting his head on your shoulder.
âYou told me to stop taking breaks, but look at you. Youâre in here daydreaming,â Austin says.
âI get to because Iâm actually doing my job and putting things away,â you tell him.
âHey, I did put some things away,â Austin feigns hurt. âWhat were you thinking about?â
âNothing,â you shrug, placing the mug into the cabinet with the rest of the cups.
âOkay, letâs try again, but this time you actually tell me the truth?â
âAustinâŚâ you sigh. Youâre not really in the mood to pour out your feelings.
âNo, donât âAustinâ me. Tell me,â he insists, giving you a light squeeze as encouragement. You breathe out another sigh as you contemplate whether you should tell the truth or not. When you take too long to decide, you feel Austin remove his head from your shoulder and turn you around to face him. He raises an eyebrow at you, waiting for you to continue.
You just decide to say, âIâm just in my head is all.â
Thatâs all you needed to say for Austin to understand what you meant. âSweetheart, Iâve already told you several times thereâs no need to overthink.â
âI know, I know,â you nod.
âDo you?â Austin asks, dipping his head down so his eyes could meet yours.
âYes, I do,â you reply, giving him a soft smile to try and reassure him.
âOkayâŚâ Austin squints his eyes, not completely believing you, but he decides to move on. For now. Then he adds, âbut just so you know I have no problem reassuring you.â
Your jaw drops as you hit him across the chest, causing him to smile. âAnd since weâre both doing such a good job with everything, I think we should take another break. Iâm tired,â he continues.
You playfully scoff. âOf course you are. How about you go rest, while I continue,â you answer and go to move out of his grasp, but Austin just tightens his hold on your waist.
âWhy donât you join me?â
âBecause I donât want to.â
âCome on, baby,â Austin whines.
âNo,â you laugh. You place your hands over his and try to pull them off of you, but again, no use.
âOkay, how about we do something else then?â Austin suggests, his voice getting lower as he begins to kiss the side of your neck.
âI thought you said you were tired,â you recall as you turn your head the best you can to get a good look at him.
âI am,â he tells you. You raise an eyebrow at him, already knowing heâs not finished. Austin then hovers his lips over the shell of your ear and whispers, âIâm tired of unpacking.â
You playfully shove him off of you, and this time he lets you. âWell, maybe if we get everything finished by the time the sun goes down, Iâll let you have what you want,â you offer, suppressing your smile as you move to the other side of the kitchen to tackle some of the boxes over there.Â
âYâknow that is a good idea, but I have a better one,â you hear Austin say behind you, before you feel him grab your arm and spin you back towards him. A surprised gasp leaves your lips along with a giggle as your chest collides with his. âHow about I just have what I want now?â
Before you could get another word out, he picks you up and throws you over his shoulder, already making his way in the direction of the bedroom.
âOh come on!â you shout as you're turned upside down. You donât put up much of a fight, as you allow Austin to drag you away.
âWhat? I gotta reassure you that youâre what I want,â you hear him say.
Once inside the bedroom, Austin plops you down onto the bed. As you start to crawl back towards the headboard, he just pulls you back down by the ankle.
âYouâre such a bad influence,â you point out, your tone light.Â
âAnd so are you,â Austin smirks as he begins to crawl over you.Â
Just as his lips are about to connect with yours, you place a finger on his lips as something out of the corner of your eye catches your attention.
âAustin?â
âYeah?â his eyebrows scrunch in confusion.
âWhy is my stuffed animal on the floor?â
âHe wasnât invited. That is unless you enjoy being watched, but I didnât peg you for the type, baby,â he wiggles his eyebrows at you.
âEw, quit it,â you lightly give his chest a shove.
âWait a second, I didnât hear you deny it,â Austin raises an eyebrow.

Word count - 2768
a/n - Â request: "please please PLEASE do something ANYTHING for benny cross x reader but reader is a sweetheart and is kinda just a goody two shoes..." read the rest of the request here. It's funny how many of your guys wanted this, and of course I had to deliver. I really enjoyed writing this and hopefully this meets your expectations. enjoy :)

âAre you sure itâs okay that Iâm coming?â you ask Kathy as she finds a spot on the crowded grass to park.
You look down at your baby pink top, jeans, and white shoes, beginning to second guess your outfit choice. Despite your outfit being basic, you still felt odd amongst all the leather and dark colors. Even Kathy wasnât wearing anything bright.
âOf course it is. These people donât care,â Kathy tells as she puts the car in park. âPlus, if it was a problem, Benny wouldnât have asked you to come.â
Benny loved your outfits. He thought it made you stand out next to him, and he loved that.
âYou and I both know he wouldâve still invited me if it even if it was a problem,â you point out, causing her to laugh in response.
âBesides you havenât been around the girls in a while and they're looking forward to seeing you again,â Kathy says.
All the commotion outside could still be heard loud and clear even through the closed windows. You knew about the people Kathy and Benny hung out with and their well known reputation â she was technically the one who introduced you to Benny.
It also wasnât uncommon for you to see members of the club riding through the streets whenever you were out in public running errands, but youâve never actually met them. Dating Benny and being friends with some of the guysâ girlfriends was the closest you have gotten to this world. Benny thought it was finally time you meet the club and he thought this outing was the perfect opportunity.
Kathy could see the look of uncertainty on your face as you looked down. âYou look fine, donât worry about it too much. These guys practically wear the same thing all the time, so who are they to judge? Now get the hell out of my car.â
Making sure to grab your homemade cookies from the backseat, you both start heading towards the group. It was your idea to bring the cookies, thinking that it would make it easier for the guys to like you if you brought something to offer. You kind of went overboard and made way too many, though.
As the two of you walk to the table where the girls are, you spot Benny at another table having a smoke and talking to some of the other members.
âYou actually came,â one of the girls, whose name you unfortunately forgot, smiled. She jumps up to give you a hug, before taking the cookie-filled container out of your hands, âAnd you brought goodies.âÂ
âYou would go straight for the food,â Kathy jokes as the girl sits down, allowing others to reach their hand into the container.
The girl shrugs. âHer cookies are the best.â
âItâs been so long since Iâve last seen you,â Gail, whose name you do remember, tells you. You go to sit down next to her, while Kathy sits across from you. âYou should come riding with us one time.â
âYou ride?â you ask her, your eyebrows raised.
âWell, no not me, but my boyfriend does,â Gail says.
You turn your head as she nods in what you're assuming is her boyfriendâs general direction, but all you notice is Benny walking towards the table.
Benny had noticed your arrival, but Johnny kept running his mouth and he couldnât find the right time to get away. He eventually just decided to get up and leave because there was no telling if the conversation would ever end, and as of now you were more important to him.
When Benny had first met you it was outside of a bar that basically belonged to the Vandals. You were only there to drop off some money for Kathy for whatever reason because she couldnât seem to get away.
You were hesitant at first because one: it was the middle of the night, and two: you would be going to a place where all the bikeriders hung out. A bar and a bunch of crazy men didnât seem like the best combination and you didnât even understand why Kathy would always go to such a place, but nevertheless she was your best friend, so you felt obligated to go.
You had barely entered the bar when Kathy had come running up to you and thanking you. You were about to tell her it was no problem â even though it most definitely was â but you got distracted by this man coming up behind her.
The tattoos and the unlit cigarette hanging from his lips shouldâve been a turn off for you, but you couldnât help but feel attracted to him. The hair, the way he walked, and the look in his eye just screamed confidence, and you found yourself not being able to look away from him. He gave you a smirk when his eyes found yours, and you immediately looked away as you felt embarrassment flow through your body.Â
Yeah, you definitely had to leave.
âDid you want to stay for a drink?â Kathy asked you, breaking you from your thoughts.
âWhat? Oh, no I should get going. Itâs late anââ
âWhoâs this?â the man asks Kathy as he approaches the two of you, interrupting your sentence. He removes the cigarette from his mouth and stuffs his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket.
âThis is my best friend,â Kathy looks up at him, âand sheâs off limits.â
The guy laughs at her statement. âArenât you going to introduce me?â he asks her, but heâs looking at you.Â
Kathy sighs as she rolls her eyes. âThis is Benny,â she tells you before looking back at him, âbut it doesnât really matter because youâre leaving, arenât you Benny.â
Well if Kathy doesnât seem to like him, then neither should you. Right?
âLoosen up, Kathy.â
Kathyâs about to say something else, but someone calls her name. She looks behind her before looking back at you Benny. She hesitates for a second before sending Benny a glare and walking away.
âIsnât it a little late for you to be out by yourself?â Benny asks, looking down at you and giving you this look. A look that gives you butterflies and makes you want to smile, but you resist. His gaze is intense.
âYes, which is why Iâm going home,â you tell him.
âDo you need a ride, Iâm on my way out,â he raises an eyebrow.Â
âNo thanks, I drove here,â you answer.
âHmm. Well I guess Iâll see you around then,â he smiles. Heâs not asking, but telling you.
âI guess so,â you say.Â
You donât know if youâre waiting for him to leave or if heâs waiting on you to make a move first, but you both just stand there for a moment. You donât know if itâs an awkward or comfortable silence between the two of you, but you canât handle his eyes on you anymore.
Benny watches you give him a small smile before turning around and exiting the bar. He smiles to himself as he follows you out the door, taking his cigarette and lighter out of his pocket. He watches as you get into the car you parked on the side of the street and drive off, still looking down the street, even when youâre no longer in eyesight.
You were different from him, and he wasnât sure if it was a good thing or bad thing, but he had to find out. You seemed so gentle and shy, unlike all the other girls that hang around at the bar. Benny felt drawn to you, even though the two of you had only talked for a couple of minutes. The fact that Kathy didnât want him around you only egged him on more.
He had to have you.
As youâre having a cup of coffee the next morning, you decide to look out one of your living room windows â something you always do. This time when you move the curtain aside, you almost drop the cup in your hand when you see Benny across the street. Heâs leaning against his bike having a cigarette, and youâre wondering how the hell he found you.
And how long has he been out there?
You set your cup down on your living room table before opening the front door. Benny notices the door open and just smirks when he sees you walking down your front steps. He gets up from his position on the bike and walks towards you, flicking his cigarette on the ground.
âWhat are you doing here?â you ask him once you reach the bottom of your steps, and Benny is standing on the sidewalk. You wrap your sweater tighter around your body as the morning breeze blows past you.
You give him a once-over now that heâs standing in front of you and man does he look good. Why does he look so good?Â
âKathy gave me your address,â he tells you casually.
Your eyes nearly pop out of their head because that is so unlike her. âAre you serious?â
âYeah,â he nods with amusement, âbut donât be mad at her, I kind of forced it out of her.â
âAnd youâre here becauseâŚ?â
âBecause I wanted to see you again. Iâve been thinking about you all night,â he tells you. Your heart drops and have to keep your jaw from hanging open because thereâs no way.
You wait a second before asking, âHow many girls have you said that too?âÂ
âOne,â he smiles at you as he slowly walks towards you. âYou.â
That was five weeks ago. You shouldnât have fallen for that cheesy line, but you did, which is how you now find yourself at this picnic.
âGlad my girl came,â he whispers in your ear as he takes a seat next to you. He smirks as he notices goosebumps popping up along your arm.
âYou two make me sick,â Kathy says, but thereâs no animosity in her voice. She canât help but smile as she looks between you and Benny because sheâs never seen him like this. Before you, sheâs never seen him soâŚin love. Itâs obvious that you have him wrapped around your finger.
Some of the other girls around the table have smiles across their faces too as they witness the interaction too because they can also see the difference in Benny.
âCome on, I want you to meet some of the guys,â he tells you and you nod. He grabs your hand in his as he walks you towards the group of guys he had been talking to when you arrived, feeling kind of nervous as you see all of their eyes on you.
As you approach, one of the older men looks down at your hand connected with his and a grin slowly grows on his lips. Heâs sitting at the table while the rest of them either stand around it, or sit on the table top.
âSo this is your girl huh, the one youâve been hiding from us?â the same guy asks.
Benny rolls his eyes. âThis is Johnny, heâs in charge of the club.â
âDamn right I am, but thatâs not important. Itâs nice to finally meet you, sweetheart,â Johnny says as he leans forward and holds his hand out for you to shake. You give him a small smile as you accept his hand.
âWeâre here too,â another guy says.
âThatâs Cockroach,â Johnny tells you before introducing the rest of them, and pointing out some of the others that are walking around. âAnd this is Danny, heâs not like everyone else. Heâs writing some kind of story or somethinâ.â
You turn around to see a guy with a camera hanging around his neck approaching the group, a half eaten cookie in his hand. âSomeone made cookies, you guys gotta try them.â
âAnd you didnât bring us any? Not cool man,â Cal says.
âDidnât you make those?â Benny looks down at you, nodding his head towards Dannyâs hand.
âUm, yeah.â
âYou bake?â Cockroach asks, and you nod.
âWell hand them over so we can try it before theyâre all gone,â Johnny says, and you give him a nod before heading back towards the table where the cookies are.
As youâre walking, some drunk guy stumbles his way in front of you, almost bumping into you. Thinking nothing of it since a lot of the men around are wasted, you ignore him and try to go around him. The man doesnât let you move far though as he grabs your arm and gives you a sly smile. Your face contorts in disgust and you try to jerk your arm away, but his grip is too tight.
âI havenât seen you around here before, little lady. Whatâs your name?â he slurs, the smell of alcohol filling your nostrils.
âNone of your business,â you tell him. You try to pull your arm away again, but the manâs grip only gets tighter. Your heartbeat picks up as you begin to panic, but thereâs too many people around so nothing can happen. Right?
âI like your shirt,â he gives the bottom of your shirt a little tug.
âStop,â you smack his hand away.
âCome on, donât be like that, gorgeous. Iâm just trying to be nice, the least you could do is tell me your name,â the man steps closer, getting into your face.
âLet me go,â you say sternly, once again trying to move.
âI think you need to be taught some manners,â the man glares at you.
From behind you, Benny sees the altercation going down and begins to come to your aid, but you do something that makes him stop in his tracks.
You smack the man hard, making his head turn to the side. His hand immediately lets go of you to reach up and touch his cheek, the handprint already starting to show.
A few people around who witnessed the scene gasp and laugh. A few whistles and hollers join in.
âYou bitch,â he says, his nostrils flaring.
âI guess we both need to be taught some manners,â you spit, no longer feeling shy since there are too many eyes on him.
Apparently, the man notices the stares too because he backs off, but not without giving you one last look.
âWell damn,â Cockroach says amongst the group.
âGot yourself a good one, Benny,â Johnny chuckles, his head falling back. That makes Bennyâs heart swell with pride.
âRemind me not to piss her off,â Cal says, his eyes wide.
Kathy comes up to check on you, but you tell her youâre okay. When you come back to the group with the container in your hand, everyoneâs looking at you with grins covering their face. Benny shoots you a wink, making your face heat up.
âThese arenât bad at all, you gotta bring these to all the meetings,â Johnny says after taking a bite of his cookie, the guys nodding in agreement.
Now, you donât know what you were thinking, but the idea of attending meetings hadnât crossed your mind at all.
You shouldâve known because a couple of days later when the club meets at the bar again, youâre right there with them, a few containers of baked goods in your hand. The men donât waste their time rushing towards you when you first step foot in the bar, making Benny shove his way through the crowd to make sure you donât get crushed. Surprisingly, though, you donât mind at all.
âYou better wait your turn,â one guy tells another whoâs trying to cut in front of him.
âFuck off,â the man answers and shoves the guy aside.
Benny grabs them both by the neck of their jackets and pulls them back.
âGentlemen, please, letâs not act like animals,â Johnny calls out.
Word gets out about how good your baking is â and your altercation with that drunk man â causing the bikers to have respect for you. Whenever you need something and Bennyâs not around, thereâs always someone that volunteers.
If you need a ride to work because your car broke down and Bennyâs not able to pick you up, Johnnyâs waiting right outside your door. If for some reason, someone dares to shoot their shot at you, it doesnât take long for the person to get thrown out of the bar. And when you get cold, several of the bikers offer their jackets to you, only for Benny to quickly throw his jacket over your shoulders.
Yeah, you could get used to this.

What Were You Thinking
Austin Butler x reader
Warnings - none, fluff
Word count - 2849
a/n - I watched The Bikeriders, so now i'm ready for the benny imagines. Also, I gotta step up my writing game. I hope you enjoy :)

Of course youâre not ignoring him. You havenât talked to him and you havenât answered any of his messages or calls, but that doesnât mean youâre ignoring him, right? Well, maybe.
A couple of nights ago, you and Austin shared a moment after dinner with some crew members and, ever since then youâve been casually avoiding him. He had been on his way out of the hotel to take a late night stroll to clear his head and asked you if you would like to join him. Thinking nothing of it and needing a release as well, you accepted his offer.
The two of you ended up on the roof of the hotel since no one would be able to find you two there, and after talking for a bit about whatever came to mind, you both just stood in silence as you looked out at the city.
You donât remember exactly how it happened, but one moment Austin had begun to confess his growing feelings towards you, and then the next the two of you were kissing. It wasnât a complete surprise because the two of you have grown closer and closer throughout the duration of filming, and you felt some tension between you guys, but you thought you were just being delusional.
Now, itâs not like you didnât feel the same way towards him because you did â he had you hooked from the moment you first met him â you supposed you just didnât expect this moment to ever happen. And itâs not like the kiss wasnât great, Austin was gentle and you felt so safe in his arms â not like you had a list of experiences to compare it to.
When the two of you parted ways for the night, you were on good terms, but when you woke up the next morning everything hit you. Your mind started to race as you began to wonder if Austin had regretted the kiss, or if he had had too much to drink last night which resulted in his confession, or maybe you were just getting pranked.
Then you remembered that Austin isnât one to drink until getting drunk, and he isnât a huge fan of pranks, meaning that everything that had happened the night before was real. This didnât make you feel better at all, though.Â
You didnât have to see him that day because you had a flight to catch your next destination of the press tour, and Austin had some talk show to attend meaning he would be on a later flight. That didnât stop him from reaching out to you, though, and in the beginning you were texting him back, but then you panicked and stopped.
You had told your assistant everything that had happened since you felt so confused, but she didnât really say anything except how she knew it all along and how you shouldnât be worried because Austin was the one to confess his feelings first.Â
This didnât make you feel better either.
You canât stay away from him forever though because now youâre about to attend your movie premiere in Sydney, which means you have to see him during pictures and the interviews.
Your assistant walks in on you pacing around your hotel room and asks, âDo you need a paper bag to breathe into?â
You stop your pacing to glare at her and say, âYouâre not funny.â You decide to look out of the window to distract yourself, only to notice the drops of rain beginning to fall from the sky.Â
Great.
âI donât understand what youâre so worried about, itâs just Austin,â your assistant tells you.
âYou mean the guy I made out with and then completely avoided him after? What the hell am I supposed to say to him?â you ask, about to run a hand over your face until you remember the full face of makeup you have on.
âHow about a âhiâ. Youâre making this way harder than it has to be, yâknow. Itâs not like heâs going to be mad at you, I donât even think he has an angry bone in his body,â your assistant laughs. âNow, can you please finish sulking? The car is waiting downstairs.â
You roll your eyes as you step away from the window and give yourself one last final look in the mirror. You canât deny the fact that your dress is gorgeous, along with your hair and makeup, making you feel confident and prepared for the dozens of pictures you're about to take.
Your assistant comes up to stand behind you as well, giving you a once-over with a smile. âYou look amazing, and I know Austin will feel the same.â
When you arrive at the theatre, there are dozens of fans standing along the barricade waiting for cast members to come over and say hello to them and sign autographs. As you step out of the vehicle, with the help of your driver offering his hand, you notice Austin immediately as he moves down the long line of fans to sign whatever they hand him.
His assistant and publicist are behind him trying to keep an umbrella over his head, but Austin being Austin doesnât care about the rain messing up his styled hair or his fancy suit and continues to hold conversations as best as he can. That doesnât stop his team from surrounding him and trying to keep him looking nice for everyone.
You, on the other hand, would like to stay as dry as possible.
The volume of the crowd suddenly rises as everyone notices your arrival, making Austin turn around. His eyes meet yours and for a second you freeze and donât know what to do. The weather has made him look even better, if thatâs even possible, and the wet hair definitely does something to you.
After taking a moment, you finally snap out of it and give him a small smile, which he returns before continuing your walk.
Austin watches from his spot as you walk away, your back towards him. He canât help but admire and appreciate your appearance, and he canât wait to tell you how beautiful you are.Â
That is, if you actually come near him. Heâs not completely offended that youâve gone distant from him over the last couple of days, but he is confused. He knows his feelings for you are reciprocated, so heâs just guessing and hoping that you freaked out over everything.
Austin gets lost in thought for a second before he hears the girl next to him giggle to her friend because they obviously witnessed the whole thing. He clears his throat before smiling at her and signing the action figure of one of his past characters that she hands him. A laugh leaves his lips at the fact that the thing even exists.
Once you meet some fans yourself, itâs time for the interview and photographs part of the premiere, which youâre not completely looking forward to. Austin comes up beside you as you pose in front of the backdrop for the paparazzi and places a hand on your waist.
Under any other circumstances, his touch wouldnât be bothering you since this isnât anything new, but now youâre just finding it distracting. His cologne and natural scent fills your nostrils, and you could definitely pass out. You feel yourself start to sweat and your heartbeat begins to beat faster as you try and focus on smiling for the pictures.
All the while, you can see your assistant standing off to the side and smirking at the two of you.
The thought of firing her crosses your mind.
Then, Austin leans down to whisper in your ear, âYou look beautiful tonight.â He pulls away as he smiles down at you, and your fake grin for the cameras automatically turns into a genuine one.
You look up at him and muster up âthank youâ before quickly looking away. Austinâs gaze lingers on you for a couple seconds more, before looking away as well.Â
How are you supposed to survive the rest of the night, if you canât even handle something as small as this?Â
It eventually comes time for the interviews, and throughout each one all you can think about is body heat radiating off of him onto you as he stands close to you. You feel your face get warm, but that doesnât mean itâs because of him. It could be from the questions youâre being asked, which you feel are beginning to get repetitive.
Every once in a while, you swear he feels closer than normal, which could easily be written off as Austin just listening to the answers you give.
After everything moves inside, you immediately leave the group to make a beeline for the bathroom â to relieve yourself of course, but to also give yourself a chance to breathe. Thereâs plenty of time before you have to go on stage along with the rest of the cast â and Austin â so might as well relax, right?
Wrong.
When you finally decide youâve spent enough time in the bathroom, you leave, only to run into Austin himself, catching you completely off guard. You feel your heart drop.Â
Heâs leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets as he watches you step out. His eyebrows raise at you in curiosity, silently wanting to address the elephant in the room.
âItâs kind of weird for a man to linger outside of the ladies restroom,â you joke, not knowing what else to say.
Austin smirks, âI know, I usually donât do it, but you gave me no choice â since youâve been avoiding and all.â
Also, your assistant told him where to find you, but he wasnât going to tell you that.
You swallow. âI havenât.â
âOh really? Then what do you call what youâve been doing for the past couple of days?â Austin tilts his head.
âHow do you know I didnât get sick or something? Or maybe I lost my phone, that happens yâknow,â you tell him as you fold your arms over your chest.
A few people come walking down the hallway, and Austin waits for them to pass before answering, âBecause you always make sure that you have your phone, and youâve still been posting on social media.â
Oops.Â
âI thought you didnât really go on social media,â you point out, your eyebrows furrowing.
âThatâs not the point,â he playfully rolls his eyes. Heâs about to say something when another group of people walk past, some of them entering the bathroom that you two are still in front of for some reason.
Then Austin motions with his head for you to follow him, which you do. He opens a couple of doors and closes them back before finally finding an empty room for the two of you to talk. He lets you walk in first, his hand on the small of your back, before following and closing the door behind you two.
The space was small and had theatre equipment scattered around. You put some distance in between you and Austin as he turns to face you. If this was any other circumstance, being locked in a room with Austin Butler wouldnât seem so bad.
Austin runs a hand through his damp hair before stuffing his hands back into his pockets. âSo?â he speaks up, wanting you to address the situation.Â
âSoâŚwhat?â you ask as you casually look around the room, trying to look at anything but him. You canât handle his blue eyes burning into your soul at the moment, but then again you never could because itâs Austin.
âYou canât just avoid me forever. What happened to you?â he asks you softly, and you honestly donât know what to say.
âHey, I basically shut down after we kissed and now I canât look you in the eye because I donât know if what happened that night is actually real. Whatâs been going on with you?â
Yeah, no.
You feel your ears begin to grow hot and a weird sensation in your stomach as Austin stares you down. He takes a few steps closer to you and moves his head, trying to get you to look at him.
âYeah, yeah I know,â you mumble. Not knowing what to do with your arms, you fold them across your chest once again.Â
âTalk to me.â He takes another step closer, his expression gentle. âDid I cross a line by kissing you? Did you have a change of heart? What is it?â
âI justâI donât know, okay?â you say, dramatically throwing your hands in the air.
Then Austinâs eyes squint and he smirks. âYou freaked out didnât you?â
A scoff leaves your mouth because how dare he accuse you of something so true?
You shoot him a glare before saying, âSomething like that.â
âI knew it. I know you too well.â
Austin comes closer until heâs standing right in front of you, then takes your hands into his.
âWhy didnât you just come talk to me? We couldâve worked it out.â
âBecause I donât know what Iâm doing, Austin. Your career is taking off and you're this big celebrity, and Iâm just someone at the beginning of their career â a nobody,â you tell him, looking up at him.
Austinâs eyes furrow and the feeling of hurt flashes across his face. âYouâre not a nobody, donât say that. Look where we are right now, at a premiere for a movie that you're the lead in. And who cares about my career, that doesnât matter. Iâm a human just like you. I like you for you.â
âCome on, Austin,â you sigh as you go to back up, but his grip on your hands tighten.
When heâs sure youâre not going to move again, he places his hands on both sides of your face, forcing you to look at him. Forcing you to see him.
âWhat do I need to do to show you Iâm telling the truth?â he asks, his thumb gently caressing your cheek. His voice is low now as his eyes flicker between yours. His feelings about you are genuine and he needs you to notice that.
You get that same feeling in your chest that you felt that night on the hotel rooftop. When the air was silent, and the two of you were put in your own bubble. You remember the way his hands felt on your body as he held you close, so tenderly.
âItâs not you, itâs me,â you admitted, though it was obvious.
âThen get out of your head. Do you really think I would be holding you in this extremely dusty room if I didnât care for you. You do realize how close we are, right?â he tries to assure you.
How could you not? You could feel his breath on your face everytime he talked. His scent overruled the smell of the tiny room, making it that much easier to focus on him.
âYeah,â you answer. Your voice is low now too, matching his.Â
After a beat of silence, Austin says, âWould you run away again, if I kissed you right now?â
You shake your head ânoâ because thereâs no way you can trust your voice right now. Austin waits another moment to see if you would back away, but when you donât, he leans in to connect your lips with his.
His lips are just like you remembered it, soft and plump, as he moves in sync with you. Your hands move to rest on his chest before slowly moving up to wrap around his neck. You feel Austin smile into the kiss, and you canât help but do the same. Austinâs hands leave your face before landing on your waist, pulling you even move into him, making sure you were the only air he was breathing.
When the two of you finally have to pull away for some much needed air, your faces still stay close enough for your noses to barely touch.
You feel like you could just stay here and forget the movie premiere, but the idea immediately gets tossed out the window when Austinâs phone buzzes in his pocket. He keeps one hand on your waist as he goes to dig it out, only to reveal text messages from his publicist wondering where the two of you were.
Right as Austinâs thumb moves to text her back, another two pop up.
âWell sheâs definitely not happy,â Austin laughs.
âWe should get back before she kills you,â you say as you watch the messages roll in.
âYeah, I guess,â he agrees as he answers his publicist before re-pocketing his phone, a hint of disappointment in his tone.
As he walks you to the door and opens it, you stop to say, âJust for the record, I didnât run. I would call it more like slowly taking a couple steps back.â
âWhatever you say, just donât do it again because I will have to chase after you,â he cheeses down at you.
That honestly doesnât sound too bad.
What were you thinking to avoid this man?

Omgggg l've just had such a cute Idea for Benny
He's still a known rebel in this one but you had a baby young the baby's now about 3/4.
we know a lot of people didn't like them back then and that generation was strict, the outlaws were frowned upon.
Bennys out with your child shopping waiting for you to finish work they're picking you up, some stuck up lady's has been following them around secretly she makes bad assumptions/ tries to ask if the child is okay/where's it's mother things like that, and Benny gets angry starts being argumentative with the lady people stop and are listening, that's when you finish work and come outside and hear what the woman is saying, you jump in and defend Benny (massively) to the woman as a father, you embarrass her etc and bennys so proud.đ
Oooh I got you, coming soonđđ
