The Hares At The Fair Banner Is Almost Gone, But It's Still Spring, So I Can Still Upload This Without

The Hares at the Fair banner is almost gone, but it's still spring, so I can still upload this without it being belated. Aside from Kagerou, I really liked the unit design this time, as it seemed to go more for cute than fanservicey, which is what I went for too. Availabe a 5🌟 Frey: Spring Knight Colorless staff infantry Weapon: Vernal+ (mt12, grants allies withinn2 spaces +4 speed) Assist: Martyr+ B skill: Renewal 3 C skill: Hone Res 3 Kris: Spring Squire Red Sword Infantry Weapon: Carrotsol (mt14, grants atk +4 to unit and adjacent allies) Special: Luna A skill: Deathblow 3 C skill: Spd Smoke 3 I do lots of seasonal staff units. Why, it's almost like I wish there were more seasonal staff units...

Oh, my poor sweet summer child... Acting like people are boycotting because they don't like spending money. People have no issue with paying for a quality product, but they DO have an issue when a business begins relying on overt greed and shady practices that alienates it's consumer base. This is LITERALLY gambling, throwing money at something you're not gaurenteed to get. This is pitting players against each other in a game that has no other competitive function, save for an automated battle and a popularity contest. The devs AREN'T sitting there and taking it- they're deleting reviews, and locking people (many of them paying players) out of their FB accounts, which means they're locking them out of the game they paid for. People HAVE asked them for improvements, and they responded with the boilerplate "we hear you and we're taking your feedback into consideration" copy/paste that always means "we're ignoring you and we're not changing a damn thing".

These are not starving artists or indie devs struggling to keep their lights on. Elex is a MASSIVE company. Love Nikki is on four servers, and this isn't even the first version of the game- it's the THIRD as far as I know! People spend plenty of money on regular events, on rechage suits, on daily diamond cards- and there are MILLIONS of players on this server alone. This company is making money hand over fist, so forgive me for not being too concerned that little Timmy can't get a new villa for his birthday. If I, or anyone else with a modicum of common sense, were in their shoes, I wouldn't be ignoring all the complaints leveled at me. I would acknowledge that my consumers are pissed at me, uninstalling my product, and warning others away from my product and DO something about it, rather than sit around with my thumbs up my ass waiting for the white whales to buy my another Porche.

Even now, people asked for other ways of treating these events, including just making the ranked suits buyable. The devs just don't pay them any mind. There are no ranked events on the chinese sever and, surprise surprise, it hasn't gone bankrupt. If they had listened to the backlash last time, people wouldn't be up in arms now. They claimed they'd take our words into consideration, and have done almost nothing to prove they have (save for new skintones that, of course, came with an event for them to monetize). This is, almost to the letter, how Activision and EA treat their customers, and look where it got them. A massive drop in both players AND revenue, and in EA's case, government officials looking into their glorified gambling boxes. This isn't about the people behind LN needing money, because the problem is that SOME money clearly isn't enough for them. No, they've made it clear that they want ALL the money ever, and THAT'S what has the community splitting apart. The divide is between people who are upset that something they love is getting worse and worse...

And the people who oh so helpfully remind us that we don't HAVE to play. We don't HAVE to do something we enjoy doing because, if you don't keep your mouth shut and accept every scummy thing a developer or publisher does, then you don't deserve to enjoy it.

LN fans. We don’t need to boycott.

GUYS. PLEASE READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY IN ITS ENTIRETY.

This is a FREE game. Have you ever seen any ads? No. Have you been put at gun point to hand over your money by the devs? No. Do you HAVE to pay to play? No!

Please guys. Boycotting and petitioning is incredibly ridiculous.

These people work hard to make this game a good game to play. Boycotting the event would only make people who are more inclined to win, easier for them to win.

The two basic suits, the starry kimono themed outfit and waitress outfit, are adorable and posable!

Please stop the discourse with devs. They work hard to make a quality game, and seeing you all thrash and throw a temper tantrum, of course they aren’t going to sit there and take it.

Yes, nobody likes ranking events. I don’t either. But…Jesus people, we are better then this!

This is just ONE event across the hundreds, maybe thousands of events we have/had/will have!

Rather then go to ban the event, or “boycott”, and give the game 1 star reviews (which is literally spam btw) why not ask for an improved version? Bigger ranking pools? less costly ways of gaining that ranking in game/or through purchases?

These are all things we can reasonably ask for.

Remember, the developers are PEOPLE. They wake up, go to work, and live with their families, and make a living trying to do what they enjoy, just like you and me.

They rely on paying players to help improve the quality of the game. To keep food on the table. Have the lights running. Send their kids to school.

Just lower your anger, and put yourself in their shoes.

Demonizing these hard working, talented people isn’t the way to go about this.

We don’t need war over one event. There will be better events. This isn’t worth a meltdown.

We need to be mature, understanding and patient.

At the end of the day, this is still just a game. And if you honestly don’t like anything in this game anymore, you aren’t obligated to play it.

This game has a wonderful community, and I don’t want it splitting apart over 1 single event.

So please, be kind to each other, be reasonable, and be understanding.

Thank you for reading.

You made a nice solid point in that post about cringe culture! I'm just here to say thank you and have a good day!!

Oh. Wow...really? Cuz... when I made that, people chewed me out to the point of blocking me (whiny little babies....). I'm happy there are other people out there who understand that, while bullying little kids is a shit thing to do, people- especially those who want to be artists or writers- need to grow a slightly thicker skin.

Actually, people complain all the time about other events costing diamonds and therefor, money. And when they do, everyone jumps down their throat telling them to shut up, "you can't get EVERYTHING for free" "stop being entitled" "no one's FORCING you to pay" "lol, look at all the greedy children". If you haven't seen f2p players complaining that they can't even get ONE suit from normal events, then you either haven't been to the facebook page, or willfully ignore them.

The difference between normal events and ranking events, however, is that a.) The suits from other events come back either in the store or as craftables, so there's less pressure to get them then and there. Even hell suits come back, albeit more expensive the second time around. And b.) People spending money during normal events has no impact on other players. For instance, I spent about $50 during the Evernight event to get all five suits. That did not stop anyone else who also spent money from getting them because they were available to everyone. If I were to spend, say, $100 dollars to get to rank 3000 in THIS event, well, I've just bumped down the person who had previously spent $99 to get to that rank, thus taking the suit away from them. People are complaining more about the fact that not only do you have to spend money on this event, but spending money is no guarentee that you'll get everything because this is a live auction that only has 500 full suits to go around for the thousands of people playing.

This Is Actually An Excellent Point!

this is actually an excellent point!

unless you have enough diamonds saved up practically every event requires you to spend some money to complete each set. then theres the sets you have to buy. then theres the top up sets.

all of these are definitely predatory towards people with impulse control but nobody said a damn thing until it came to something they personally couldnt get their hands on.

as someone diagnosed as severely ocd with hoarding/spending habits it really grinds my gears that these people pretend to care about people like us when theyre just mad they cant have their own way

Leaving a one star review because of one event is absolutely justified, considering why this is all happening in the first place. It's not just "Baaaw, ranking events are bad because I can't get everything", it's because how the company is treating it's customers. No, they did not promise to take out ranked events like some people claim, but they DID say they were going to try to change the events we get to better suit players on this server. Players resoundingly told them they didn't want ranked events, and what do they do? Another ranked event, making it clear that our complaints fall on deaf ears. They continue to let outrage grow, saying nothing on the facebook page, issuing the same copy/pasted response to people who email complaints, and deleting negative reviews that only started coming in AFTER their radio silence. People don't like being ignored, especially when it would take so little to appease them, so they take every avenue available to let their voices be heard. This is straight up Bungie levels of PR failure. Just wait until they close their facebook account off to anyone who hasn't spent money on the game.

W O W

So apparently the Love Nikki devs are now marking anyone who gives their game a 1 star review on facebook as spam, resulting in the users’ accounts being locked. THEN they’re deleting all the 1 star reviews on facebook and in the google play store.

Fuck you too, LN devs. People are giving 1 star reviews in protest to the upcoming rank event after we made it clear that we never wanted a rank event again and they said “Yeah, we hear you.” And their response to us taking action and being mad that they ignored and lied to us is to punish us?? Does EA secretly run this game???
