Ok I'm back on my Hyrule Warriors bullshitery, and Wars knows like the most random assortment of people???

Why do we not have more fics of this???

The potential!!!! It could be like:

Sky gets talking about Girahim, and Wars just groans and adds his two cents on the tongue thing that the demons does. Sky agrees, but he is also v confused, because how do you know him exactly???

With Ravio there is the potential for angst because Wars knows Rav, but Ravio doesn't know him yet. But consider that Warriors knows all the merchants loopholes, and is able to negotiate for reasonable prices. Meanwhile Legend is off to the side holding his head all HOW??? Because he has been trying to figure out how to do that for years with no luck at all.

Time gets some serious emotional whiplash when they run into Princes Ruto and has a bit of a panic. Warriors is the man with chronic woman problems, and Ruto is the most problematic woman Time knows — which can only spell disaster. Instead they are chill, and she is asking the Captain how his last date worked out, and then Time remembers that she fought in the war too. He relaxes for only a moment before shooting into a Dad Crisis™ because Ruto is offering to be the knights wing man and oh goddess someone stop them.

Twilight gets to have a wtf moment when the chain runs into Agatha and Warriors just pulls out jars of rare bugs from his world for the girl.

But at the same time, Warriors doesn't know people that you would reasonably think he probably should given the time periods he was dropped into. Groose? Never heard of him. Malon? He met her for the first time with all the others.

And he can kinda navigate in certain places and eras. They get to Skyloft and he wants to know if the bakery a block away from the academy still sells those pumpkin muffins. He can navigate Hyrule field in Twilights era with his eyes closed (it's because he has).

From an outsiders perspective he has a baffling assortment of random knowledge, that makes sense only to Time and that's because the one-eyed hero fought in the War Across the Ages. But to the rest of the chain Warriors has this cryptid like power to him, and they are sure they could just ask him about it, but none of them are certain if they actually want to know.

Warriors has ADHD, especially when it comes to planning. He’ll have backup plans for backup plans. He’s got spreadsheets and red string on a board connecting his plans, and he’s got a chessboard that he uses religiously, and even toy soldiers for real life-or-death plans.

And screw it- he doesn’t have anything? He’ll use fucking rocks and sticks for planning , and he’ll draw plans into dirt and even gravel if he has too.

Mans is obsessed, and no I will not elaborate.
