all AAC should be completely free forever. no there shouldn't be "free versions of paid AAC apps" i mean like every single feature and option should be free forever and ever. we should not have to pay to communicate.

The dog apparently experiences phantom pains, as well as having an unpleasant healing process for something that's completely unnecessary, so yes it does hurt the dog even if the initial cropping isn't painful due to being put under.

The only valid reason I can see for ear cropping (and tail docking) is the prevention of future injury from hunting trips and fights with humans. But there are people who do it for cosmetic reasons, as well as keeping up with 'breed standard' which is something I find greatly upsetting.

Doberman therian culture is being infuriated by all the people that crop their doberman's ears because it's 'more aesthetic' with zero regard for the dog's wellbeing.

isn't it also often done without anesthesia? ("ear cropping" involves the removal of part of the ear)

also look at them without the aesthetic changes vs with it ("tail docking" or the removal of the tail is also an extremely common practice)
