So Levi being a scientist would totally like document the changes and his own research. Like he has a journal and he writes down the changes day by day. He picks out a scale and he has sketches of it and such glued in. Obsessively looking through mer and siren folklore. He realizes he understands the injured siren they have in captivity at one point and he asks her questions. (She can’t speak English super great and is stubborn around humans)His throats always dry and sore because his vocal cords are evolving to adapt to him singing like a siren. Also I decided we’re gonna give Levi a crush on a scientist hes worked with for a while and they date so they’re boyfriends :))). His boyfriend is the first to find out about his transformation and he takes care of Levi. Levi is bathtub bound at a certain point but soon it won’t be large enough and he’s taken to the lab. It’d be adorable to see Levi chirp and sing at his boyfriend and be cuddly even through his growing size.

Levi forgetting his jaw size had grown and smiling at his co-worker, only it looks horrifying bcuz holy heck dude nobody's mouth should be that big what the-

Like I'm imagining he looks normal, until his goes to talk or move his mouth and you see that the corners go back a LOT farther than you thought they did

Bonus points if his teeth look normal around the front where a normal human's mouth would be and get sharper the further back you go

Yesss that’d be great,I feel like maybe when he’s first transforming it’d be little things coming in a bit faster but there’s just the breaking point when he gets bigger and more monster like. Like he goes from being pretty normal and mer like but then he starts to notice his more siren features. Levi just sitting in the tub with his tail partially out and taking a nap and finding when he wakes up the tub feels a bit smaller.

Im imagining Levi swimming through a patch of oil spill and just getting really pissed the fuck off because honestly? It's like swimming headfirst into a cloud of liquid vaseline, only it sticks to you and makes grabbing things near impossible. Makes bile build up in ur mouth and throat too, really unpleasant feeling. So he just kind of,,,,,rises out of the water to the drilling rig and cusses them out.

Imagine being a rig worker and this giant oil-soaked leviathan-person just starts calling you a pompous dickhead in this whiny teenage voice.

He’s just this big angry teen mer that’s just covered in oil and pissed. I could see him destroy the oil rig too in a fit of rage. I thought it’d be sweet if he gets adopted by a whale pod and he protects the whales from other predators. He tries to not eat whales of the same speices unless he finds them beaches and dead or decaying on the top of the ocean surface.

Giving him an electric charge could be interesting with the whole eel like aspect. But I suppose maybe “Leviathan” becomes a gaurdian of the sea in a sense.
