What's something from your actual life that you always end up incorporating into your writing one way or another?

Personally, I love writing about women breaking free from whatever is oppressing them, it could be traditional values, societal pressure, etc because it's something so personal to me. Even if the story doesn't revolve around this theme it'll end up in the story somehow.
