Thinking about Alastor being aroace. Thinking about how, although he doesn't know the term for it himself, he's clearly aware that he has no interest. Thinking about how he doesn't shy away from touch or compliments despite this fact, whether giving or receiving it. He hugs Mimzy and calls her darling, he dances with Rozie, he is still undeniably aroace.
I am just so in love with this. In love with the fact that a person with zero (or at least little) interest is not simply written as cold, uncaring, or unempathetic. I think that's why I love his character so much; not just because of the charismatic radio host thing, but because he feels real and valuable. He matters to me.
