Ngl, With Erica Treats Ben And The Confusing Age Gap, I Have To Say It: Ben Deserves Better. Theyre Chill
ngl, with Erica treats Ben and the confusing age gap, I have to say it: Ben deserves better. They’re chill as friends, it’s just the “romance” that’s not doing it for me anymore. I actually kinda liked it in the first 3 books (I’m on book 5 now), but now it’s like, Ben, babes, go with literally anybody else.
Murray is out here tearing the country up for you. Go join him. /half joking/
Thank you! That’s what I’ve been saying! Berica peaked in the first few books. Back then, they had a good dynamic and no complications. But then book 4 happened then uh
Yeah
Ben really does deserve better.
Like come on man, Murray’s right there waiting for you /hj

Looks like Danger Mouse needed a replacement
Poor Geronimo
I just read the convo between Zoe and Ben in spy school goes south, and…Zoe has a point. She didn’t need to be rude towards Erica, but Zoe has a point.
All in all, Ben needs to go with either Mike or Murray and Zoe and Erica need their own separate healing journeys.
Yeah… As harsh as Zoe was, on both Ben and Erica, you are right, she did have a point there.
They all have stuff to figure out.
Ben, with what he wants out of a relationship, and Zoe and Erica with how they treat themselves
For now, yeah, I think it’s best if they all stop trying to make it work romantically.
Clearly, Ben isn’t a good fit for either of them, and vice versa
I’m convinced that what Zoe is doing with Ben is the same thing Murray did with Zoe
(Headcanon territory under the cut, beware)
They’re both trying to convince themselves that they like someone else of the opposite gender to prevent any complicated feelings about their sexual identity. (so, classic comphet)
Both of their crushes feel so forced and stilted, so much so that I don’t believe it’s an actual crush
Hence why I ship Murray with Ben mainly
That way, Murray gets some character development
He is forced to confront and move on from his wrongdoings to Ben, and he finally learns what he wants out of life
Erica and Zoe get a chance to work on themselves, without having the complications of a romantic relationship
And Ben finally gets the partner that he deserves
TV Show Trap > Book Trap
Let me explain
Trap in the books is a selfish asshole who scams people out of their money, including his own family. He also plays lot of nasty tricks on Geronimo that are bordering dangerous.
He’s a complete slob, a moron, and an all around shitty guy
In the TV show, while he’s still kind of a moron, he’s not a terrible person. He still likes to prank Geronimo, but they’re harmless jokes for the most part. He does care about his family, including Geronimo, he’s just kind of a dumbass.
And the best part? He gets called out on his bullshit. By everyone.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk
You can call him whatever awful names you want, and he won’t get mad
But if you bad-mouth his cat(s), you’re gonna get flayed
Do you think Geronimo is a cat person or a dog person? Or both? Or neither?
Personally, I think he’d exclusively be a cat person, purely because he’s terrified of dogs
Especially big dogs, since they love to jump on him (and they knock him over in the process)
I'd have to agree, he'd probably be a cat person. Cats are more independent than dogs, which to G would be a relief because he already has to deal with needy-ass punks in his workplace. He names his cat(s) after silly little things based on their appearance (he'd unironically name a cat Loaf or a variant of such), and he's very protective of them. He freaked out when Will drove through his front door with a steamroller in Great Diamond Robbery, one of the reasons being his cat was sitting near the front door at the time. As per William nature, he didn't care much about the cat, because hijacking your grandson's TV day is way more important than the possibility that you just ran over your grandson's pet cat. Here you go, another reason to hate William, you're welcome :D
