Jimin hummed in response and cautiously turned to look, still aware of you sleeping against his arm while Jungkook walked in to greet him with a morning kiss. “Morning,” he smiled and Jungkook returned the gesture, foreheads touching as they shared another kiss, an eskimo kiss.

“We’re having breakfast soon,” he told the older man, “You should wake our little flower up.” Jimin cringed for a moment and he burst out laughing softly, careful to not stir you awake. “I hate waking her up too, hyung.”

“Only because she looks so precious,” Jimin sighed as he looked back at your peaceful sleeping state. “Will you help me?”

“Alright, fine.” The youngest walked away from Jimin’s side to slowly plop himself on the other side of you, where Taehyung had slept the night before.

Walking to the kitchen area, you let out a sigh. Table 8 had been causing you a headache today. Five boys and a girl - who you felt very sorry for based on the way she looked uncomfortable - had occupied the table for about half an hour now. They’d taken to complaining in your ear about every little thing that they could find.

Not only had they complained about how they had to wait so long for their drinks, or the fact the tables weren’t clean - which was complete bullshit because you yourself had cleaned every goddamn table around - they went as far as to comment on your appearance and things you did. You were slowly beginning to lose patience with the group, and you usually had a lot of that to spare.

When the alarm rings softly on the nightstand, vibrating and buzzing and Namjoon lets out an annoyed groan as he reaches out to shut the phone off, Taehyung doesn’t hear it.

Even as the rest of them groans awake and makes shifting movements on the bed, he’s still peacefully sleeping with you held in his arms.

He only understands that dawn is ready to come when you move around in his arms, shuffling closer, hating the warmth already leaving from the comfort of the bed, and holds him tighter.

If there’s one thing for certain it’s that min Yoongi hates you. 

He hates your smile and your perfect lips that wrap over his coffee mug when he wakes on Sunday and finds you talking in your practically infuriating voice to his boyfriend. He hates it When you cross your soft looking legs at the ankle while you sit on your kitchen counter (in the exact spot that Yoongi had made love to Hoseok on last week). He hates when you act embarrassed after he snidely asks you what the fuck you’re doing here so early.

He hates when his boyfriend sighs over the edge of his own coffee mug and points out that it’s nearly one. Later Hoseok will say that it’s not your fault that Yoongi likes to sleep late or that you wanted to see your best friend on his only day off (which was also Yoongi’s only day off). He hates that you’re his boyfriend’s best friend. You’ve been in their lives for so long that if Yoongi was going to approve of your friendship with his boyfriend or make any move to be your friend himself, he would have done it by now.

Maybe it would be easier if you weren’t so beautiful. there is something about your presence that is so reassuring. Something about the way you talk that pulls Yoongi in like a riptide. maybe he could have ignored that if you weren’t so beautiful, but no you had to be gorgeous and kind. 

He can’t get close to you, won’t let himself make what would surely end up being a mistake. Min Yoongi couldn’t hate you nearly as much as he wanted to, not that he hadn’t tried. No matter how much he tried to find fault with your personality or how he tried to push you away from him, he couldn’t hate you, his heart wouldn’t let him.

Because if he knew one thing at all-it’s that he would always love you more.
