It’s a known fact that Jacob raised and cared for his brothers, he protected them at all costs and made sure they had everything they needed. He would steal clothes, food/treats for them, toys for Little John and books/comics for Joseph. He didn’t care if he would get caught, not like he would, but it was worth it for his kid brothers. He even had to learn how to cut hair for them so they could be presentable and clean for school. On some days he would ditch school with them and take them anywhere they wanted to go, obviously anywhere that had a lake, river or forest, and relax there, forgetting about home, school and the harsh world that was out there and just pretend it was them and nature.
