I personally don't have any problem explaining my therianthropy/otherkinity through my neurodivergence/autism.

I think it does make much more sense and has a lot more meaning to me that everything I experience as an animal it's due to my autistic brain, and it truly makes me happy. And, instead of getting disappointed and stopping identifying as a therian (as it's something that could happen), I feel way more connected and comfortable with me being an animal due to my neuronal development, cause this is what makes me more than just a human 💜🐾

Confession: I absolutely hate the fact that I see many nonhuman things someone says as a sign of autism, because it is. “Scents overwhelm my dog nose”, autism. “I have a weird posture since I’m supposed to be on all fours”, autism. “I don’t fit in and don’t feel human at all”, autism. I hate how my brain tries to be rational and the fact that I know so many nonhuman experiences are just due to the person being autistic, myself included. I don’t want that to be the case (and genuinely want to believe I’m nonhuman in some way), even though it most often is.

I love how in Monkey Man, when Dev Patel is fighting the brothel owner, he's just fighting because the guy started it. But as soon as he sees the little girl there? The implication? He instantly goes batshit and is ready to kill this motherfucker, chase be damned.
