To the people that have watched “Turning Red” and complain that it is “a horrible depiction of 13 year olds” I am inclined to believe that you haven’t interacted with a teenager in the course of your life

To the people that have watched “Turning Red” and accuse it of being gross and perverted out of all things because it talked about periods, I‘ll patiently wait for the day you develop critical thinking

To the parents that have watched “Turning Red” and legitimately whine about the fact that they had to sit down and explain to their confused sons what periods were, I’m sorry that you couldn’t bother teaching your child a very basic biological phenomenon that 3,9 billion people sharing the same planet as him have to go through

To the people who have watched ”Turning Red” and dislike the film purely because they can’t relate to it, I pity you and genuinely hope that the day where you approach media with nuance comes to you soon

*To the people who have watched “Turning Red” and claim it represents the act of disobeying your parents in a positive light and that this was the message of the movie, I fear that this animated film that contains a girl transforming into a giant fluffy red panda might be a little too complex for you

I had massive incredibles brainrot in December and committed these atrocities that have been dusting for about a month or two so might as well post them lol

Getting Jack-Jack out of the way first, basically, since he would be about 8-9 here, he doesn’t have a stand-alone super outfit, obviously still a child that very rarely tags along with mom and dad in extreme situations. His outfit is more in line with his “monster“ temper tantrum form and the sole reason I gave him a little rope/whip thingy is because I wanted it to be a little devil tail, shush-

As for the other two, I kinda liked how the actually gave Tony some personality in the second movie and his relationship with Vi has really wholesome vibes, ngl. They would still be an item years later, maintaining a stable relationship though Tony would still be unaware that his gf is running around grappling with criminals in high quality spandex (he does have some fain suspicions-). In this, Violet is more of an “unseen“ hero per’say. Big spectacle supervillians are not really her cup of tee and she would rather help civilians by going after more everyday “nuisances“ such as thieves, kidnappers etc. She takes patrols around nighttime through the city streets searching for them wrongdoers and kinda has a reputation that may or may not make criminals scared shitless of her (hey, force fields are really not fun when they threaten to crush you). I’m not sire of a name but “specter“ works

For Tony I really like a hc I saw where someone mentioned that he could be a superhero that manipulates and tampers with emotions and can likewise sense and perceive them stronger even what other people feel. He didn’t even realize he was a super and just kinda thought that everyone just sorta perceived things extremely intensely. The first time he accidentally broke the barrier was when he got into a very heated argument with someone and almost gave them an actual mental breakdown. Was he confused and scared out of his mind because he witnessed a person go from angry to sobbing and trembling on the ground in visible agony?

After some dubious clean-up from Dicker, the flabbergasted agent couldn’t miss the small irony that the one guy they wiped clean of his memory of a super family (hell, he dated they’re daughter) was an abrupt and surprising addition to their ranks. Tony could very much not get the hang of his powers immediately and they wouldn’t exactly suffice in an armed conflict but boy, was this he eager to learn and more so to help people.

But, who was both experienced enough, had abilities that contributed on protecting and securing? And around the same age?

Tony, under the alias “Mockingbird“, is paired up with the elusive heroine who isn't all to happy at first (not counting the awkward introductions) but he admittedly makes her job a little easier, what with him trailing emotions into more that suspicious individuals. He is clumsy and sometimes trips over his own legs but she laughs hysterically at the dumb jokes he cracks up when she is trying to look serious and is an absolutely dork that looks so excited every time she greets him for a job-well-done. He almost reminds her of a certain other dork that she holds very dear... hmm
