Practicing using references! I was told for a long time, that if you use references you are ‘cheating’. Its taken me a long time to overcome the fear of people thinking that I’m ‘cheating’. Because it’s not. Using a reference helps you practice and learn! References by @_mrsteak/ @pynkblud

all the credit goes to @/cyarin, this is her concept, her idea, everything, but for me it was a really really good practice for my digital art since I got my new wacom drawing table yesterday and I’m loving it!! I watched her tutorial on youtube, if you’re interested, go check her out, she’s amazing and one of my fave artists on the net!!
why does my digital art look like I’m 10 years old? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this artblock is driving me mad. There is nothing that I draw at the moment that pleases me and it’s making me crazy. :/ I know digital is hard to grasp and everything in art is all about practise but lately it’s just been frustrating me no matter how hard I try it never looks like I want it to
more practise on my wacom, it’s tedious and it’s taking me ages... but I think I’m slowly getting the hang of things. I always tend to overdo stuff so I decided to try and keep it simple, one layer for each colour... any good?
Colour pallets are such a pain urgh...

Our apartment is coming along and I hope I find a good chair soon (sitting on the legs for hours is NOT great). I wanna pick up on drawing more again, hope my full-time job leaves enough space for that.
