Copic Colors Library from Autodesk SketchBook that took some life out of me to get done.
The copic library is a feature from the old Autodesk. Since I've been thinking of finally updating to the Sketchbook inc. version (which means I'll lose the Copic library), I thought of taking advantage of still owning the old version to have a save for the colors.
Honestly, I have never used the Copic library, but eh, it's 11-13 color palettes. Who knows, maybe someone would like to have the Copic colors for their digital art, or whatever else you could use these palettes for.

the way the internet facilitates a sort of memetic decay of phrases related to sexual attraction to slowly, inexorably point towards the same conventionally attractive people in their 20s instead of the original meanings is so disgusting to me

Online 3D experiment by Ikaros Kappler which is described as a “Extrusion/Revolution Generator” ….
Created with three.js, you can alter the bezier curves and angle of the form, and is designed with 3D printing in mind (models can be exported and saved, as well as calculated weight in silicone).

Tbh, personally I didn't really consider the flashback/intro cutscenes as perfectly accurate. Something something the inherent exaggeration of describing a legend to make it more grandiose or scary, something something Ulzar's memories twisting the events to accurately describe their horror etc
But this is actually more fascinating! To add to that, I'm pretty sure he is so much bigger in the intro sequence (mf can also fly??? Levitate??? Whatever) so him being fresh from revival does mean that his uh... nefarious shadow aura is just not properly formed ig

Something that I've been wondering for a little while recently is if Omnicron was supposed to look more like a lovecraftian horror, or something along those lines. I haven't played Nexomon 1 in 2 years so I'm just going off what other people have said and the wiki, but iirc, Omnicron is a creature from an entirely different dimension, yet he just looks like a wolf with some fantasy elements? Either way I find the idea of Omnicron to be, similarly to Cthulu for example, something *humans aren't supposed to see*, very interesting. Omnicron is essentially the Nexomon God, don't you think human people seeing him would be something almost forbidden, to the point their brains can barely even comprehend it? Do you think that some of the oldest Nexomon species, because of Omnicron being lovecraftian and sharing his genes, also looked incomprehensible and horrific, but over the span of hundreds of years the more Nexomon became the way they are in the games because of selective human breeding, evolution and adaptation to the environment? Idk maybe this is a better idea for some kind of horror au

Sorry for double posting but APPARENTLY those commission scammers have showed up on Tumblr at least for the first time for me.
For those who don’t know what I am talking about, there were/are commission scams going on in Instagram and even places like Artstation where people would pretend to be interested in your work and try to commission a pet or portrait for the sake of trying to get your bank details. Here’s how to (somewhat) sniff them out:
1- They don’t seem to be an average customer/ person that would be involved in your fandom, or has a blank template for an account or don’t even follow you.
2- They ask you to draw a portrait or a pet picture either for themselves or their children/family.
3- They promise to overpay you (in the hundreds) and do not listen to you even if you firmly state the price is cheaper.
4- They are constantly asking for your email name, or private details regarding things like banking details or passwords or other private information others should not know.
5- They try and over reassure you they mean no harm, try to guilt you into giving them the info, or become aggressive over you not giving them what they want.
What should you do if you come across one of these guys? My best advice is to block and report. Sadly these people jump account to account so there isn’t really much to do other than spread this info to prevent artists from being scammed.

some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

i have very. Mixed feelings about the illustrations in nexomon extinction 2. they're not bad, not at all, but they are very much not my taste and so i think the concepts are great but the final product just doesn't hit for me </3
