thinking about if and when edwin and charles eventually move on to the afterlife, there will be no trace that they ever knew each other. two boys, from the same place, but in completely different time periods. they won't be known together- they will be known worlds apart from each other. fifty years of loving each other (romantic or platonic) and no one will know. eventually they will be forgotten, and they won't even do that together. they are the best thing to happen to each other and they didn't meet until after they were both done for. they'll be seen tragically, seen without love (without eachother or crystal or niko or jenny or monty or anyone- how could they know them?) historians will never get the chance to call them roommates
