REMEDY â PARK JIMIN [PART 1]

a/n: my first request !! iâm so excited !! this will be split into two parts because i have so much planned for this and i donât want to overload you with my word vomiting
request a prompt here
AU PROMPT #54: Character A is a solitary artist who likes to use items from nature â shells, bark, sticks, moss, ext â in order to make their sculptures: outdoor fairy houses. Afraid that people will wreck the small houses, Character A posts pictures online of each house, creating an air of mystery around them. Character B is a jogger who uses running to manage their anger. While exploring a new forest trail, Character B accidentally stumbles across Character Aâs secret studio in the woods. Slowly, so as to not âspookâ them, Character B starts to bring Character A any pretty leaves/pebbles/flowers/ext. that Character B finds on their run.
â elf!reader x jimin / fairyhouse!au

PARK JIMIN HAD A BIT OF AN ANGER ISSUE. It wasnât really a big secret. I mean, how could you hide the fact that you have anger management problems? All his friends knew that Jimin snapped a lot, and learned how to not piss him off. However they did have their moments where it seemed like they were making it their life goal to make Jimin lose face.
However he had a remedy for his anger. It was to run. Whenever he felt even the slightest bit annoyed, he would break into a jog. At first, it was kind of embarrassing but randomly start running but it was way better than having a complete meltdown.
Ditching his friends, he hopped in his car and drove to the usual forest that he liked to run in (he avoided the park because of the other people).
For some reason, he had decided to take an impromptu detour from his usual trail.
Hastily opening up a playlist from his phone, he shoved his earbuds in his ears and took off.
For the most part, you had gotten accustomed to the humansâ way of life and mannerisms. Youâd been living on their land for a very long time. However, you definitely preferred not to interact with them, in fear of being discovered (your pointed ears were not very subtle). The only time you ever left your home was when you ran out of supplies. You made your income by selling things online. The Internet was a marvelous thing.
You also posted your fairy houses online. In order to protect them, you posted pictures of them online to raise awareness. After all, your fairy friends needed somewhere safe to live too.
Today, unfortunately, you were forced to leave your home to collect more items for your creations. You tried to find everything you needed in the forest, but you had cleared out all of the useful things within your area and had to venture into unknown territory if you wanted anything that could actually be helpful, which is something you did not like to do.
So you reluctantly threw on your giant oversized hoodie and lifted the hood over your head, tugged on a pair of ripped jeans, tied your sneakers, and headed out.
Jimin didnât realize how far he had gotten until it was too late. He was so lost that he wouldâve found it funny if he wasnât terrified. After walking around aimlessly for a while, he finally stumbled across a small cottage-like house.
Everything inside him was screaming at him to leave, but he didnât listen as per usual.
Softly knocking on the wooden door, he called out in a soft voice, âHello?â
There was no answer.
He gently pushed the door and to his shock, it just swung open. It took him a few seconds on debating whether or not he wanted to go in. Deciding that he was already this far, Jimin walked in cautiously. The house smelled like vanilla, which was a pleasant surprise.
He walked around, being extra careful not to touch anything, before he stumbled across a table full of art supplies, twigs, leaves, moss, etc. It seemed like whoever lived here was in the middle of making something. On the far left of the table, was a small wooden house-like creation. The twigs were carefully stacked onto each other one by one and held together by thin stripes of glue. It was also adorned with flowers. Whoever made this obviously put their heart and soul into it.
He couldnât help but smile.
You were crestfallen when you came back. You scoured what seemed like the entire forest and still couldnât manage to find anything helpful.
When you came to your work table, you were bewildered to find a plethora of twigs, flowers, leaves, pebbles, moss, you name it. Everything you just spent two hours looking for was all there.
The fairy house that you had been working on before you ran out of supplies was even finished for you, albeit the craftsmanship was a bit poor. Inside of it, was a piece of paper that read,
for you.
