OKAY OKAY I always figured that, after the Obihardeen arc, Anakin just. up and left. fuck council permission and fuck still-recovering obi-wan too. and went to Mandalore, and just busted into Satine's sitting room and yelled "GUESS WHO'S NOT FUCKING DEAD, APPARENTLY?" so after a lot of explaining, and some crying, they're sitting around getting shitfaced on unreasonably fancy wine, and anakin slurs, "got him in the balls real good though." "yeah?" "yeah" "fucking- good. let me get the next one."

I want to know how he went telling everyone how he was still alive.

(I like to think it was an extremely awkward, recorded interview where his bald head had to go up behind a podium and explain “Yeah, not dead. Hi. It’s me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Not a clone, not a zombie. Ha ha. Fooled you all.”

Obviously this would include Palpatine singing his praises as a hero of the Republic… and hating every moment about it as much as Obi-Wan.)
