Not Really Sure How To Start This Post But Basically, I Think I've Discovered That I Might Have A Rare

not really sure how to start this post but basically, i think i've discovered that i might have a rare plush? ever since i was born i've had this green floppy legs lion plush, and every time i go to search him up online to see what type of plush he is, i can find little to nothing about him except for a couple of old images. here's a picture of the one i have for reference:

what is known about him is that he was made by the plush brand Bestever in conjunction with John Doze Studios, he's a part of the Liontoons line and that he was in production since at least 2001. other than that though, little information exists on this guy. the only colours i've seen him be produced in are green and orange, and it's unknown what other colours he exists in. there's a couple of websites that show a few of Bestever's plushies, one of which including a high quality image of their logo:

quite a few people do own him and i'm sure plenty of Liontoons plushies do still exist, but it's just the information about him that is very scarce and it'd be awesome if we knew more about him.

there's another vey similar line of plush toys called 'Orangutoons', which are these furry cartoony orangutans that come in many colours. there's a lot more images that show these plushies, including the fact that they were produced in orange, green, blue, purple, mint, red and white, lavender, pink and rainbow. a few special seasonal ones exist as well.

i do find it interesting how we have wayyy more images of this silly guy than we do the Liontoons plushies. i'm hoping more information is found about them soon!! i'd personally like to see an image of a blue Liontoons plush one day :D

the stupidly funny combination of characters that were chosen based off their first names. the narrator. the cosplays. the jerry seinfeld impression. barry steakfries' accent. barry steakfries getting progressively more aggravated as the song goes on. they let barry steakfries swear. "he's built like a mini fridge" and "this dude don't have a neck!". barry benson stealing barry steakfries' girlfriend on bumble. the references to the vlog. the lyric about the bee movie xbox game that's funny to me specifically because i saw caddicarus play it. "i'll be making your honey NUT". barry benson yelling "I MEAN COME ON!!" at the end. barry steakfries having beef with a bee that's literally 3 centimetres tall that he could easily squash with no effort. the fact that this does hard for no reason. i absolutely adore this video go watch it!!

i've always had a soft spot for sickfics and i like seeing strong characters get taken care of by the ones who love them most :) craig is making him chicken noodle soup in the kitchen, barry's favourite meal to have whenever he's not feeling well.

i liked the thought of him being all snug in the only piece of clothing he hasn't ripped so i drew the sleeves of his jammies because it was cuter :)

i was watching star trek and this clip of Worf's childhood pet disappearing singlehandedly made me laugh so fucking hard it sent me into a coughing fit and distracted me from watching the episode for like half an hour because i was SO fixated on how funny it was

the echoed "HOURNK" as he fades out of existence. the 80s editing and lighting. the bewildered look on Worf's face. i am in love with this show

i had a dream last night that was pretty Star Trek related, it started with my dad finding this youtube documentary about Captain Picard and existensial fear, and at one point it started turning into something like an episode of TNG and it was really silly and stupid

so like, there was this alien guy on the ship who was like this tall humanoid-ish guy who was part goat, like he had the torso of a completely white slim human but the head of a smug-semi human goat with completely black eyes, and these stupid little silicone ears that you can tell are just makeup'd on cause you can see the seam of the hat they used for the goat ears. it was like, completely shirtless with visible muscle, had goat hooves for its hands and feet and these black tights it'd wear too. he was like a smug pale twink with a goat-like head. its power was that it could infiltrate your thoughts and give you seering pain through making you think of and believe in intrusive thoughts, causing pain and intense anxiety to the crewmates of the ship. and every time he'd do this, he'd cross his arms and just smile at the person with his stupid little shit eating smirk. this obviously annoyed Picard because it kept trying to screw up control of the ship by giving everyone these intrusive thoughts, so he decided to play some mind games with it to try to stop it, to counter the thoughts that it was sending to confuse it and stun it.

the way it was defeated was that Captain Picard started fucking chasing it in circles around the bridge like he was a child playing tag with it and was like trying to gaslight it into thinking he wasn't chasing it by just yelling "NO I'M NOT" every time the goat alien said he was, thus countering its thoughts for long enough to be able to stun and apprehend it, and the alien was so embarrassed by being defeated this way that when it was sent back to its master's planet, he refused to tell the rest of the aliens the true story of what happened on the ship for like a month out of pure shame. it was. extremely funny.
