The Elves Leaving Valinor:
The elves leaving Valinor:
Me and my sister was talking about Rings of power ep1, and I said something about how the elves left Valinor like a bunch of hattifatners in all their tiny boats. She loved it and said I had to make a comparison, so here it is. Please enjoy.
Even the pictures of the elves traveling back to Valinor fits the descripton.

travel distance in rings of power is weird
I think it is very strange that Galadriel and Halbrand travelled from Mordor to Eregion in only 6 days. In lotr Boromir travelled almost the same distance in 110 days. (I looked this up on a wiki). Even if he lost his horse in Tharbad, it should still take Galadriel more than 6 days. She is travelling with a mortally wounded person, therefore she should be more careful and probably take longer than if she was alone. The speed they apparently travelled with should have killed Halbrand long before they even made it to Eregion.
Is Disa the only black dwarf?
Is princess Disa in Rings of power the only black dwarf in Khazad dum? I know she is " the first black, female dwarf", but are there others? It would be very strange if she is the only one.
In lore there are 3 dwarf clans living in Khazad dum in the second age. The Longbeards are Durin's clan and are the majority and original clan living in Khazad dum. The two other clans migrated from the blue mountains and are called Broadbeams and Firebeards. They are a much smaller population in khazad dum and it would make sense that they don't show up much. Since Disa married into royalty, it would have been interesting if she was a descendant of the royal line in Nogrod or Belegost. I don't think Tolkien describe the appearance of Broadbeams and Firebeards. The rings of power could probably have used this. Dark skin could have been a trait of one of the houses, probably Broadbeams. Firebeards sound like they would have red hair. If the house was created with these traits from the beginning, we can remove the argument that it would make no sense for dwarves to develop darker skin. Disa's yellow eyes could be another trait. You can even use it as an excuse for the missing beard. Just say that the Broadbeams, have less facial hair or smaller beards since they are the house that does not have "Beard" in their name. Durin's Folk are called Longbeards so it would make sense that they have more facial hair and longer beards.
(I hope I got the lore correct)
I feel like Dana probably owns the wolf t-shirt Hunter makes and just decided to put it in the show because she loves it so much. It looks like one of those T-shirts you bought when you were younger, 3 sizes too big so that you would never grow out of it and its now really worn and faded, but you still loves it, its still your favorite and you now uses it to sleep in because you don't want to trow it away, ever.
She probably walk around at home chilling with her cool wolf t-shirt and her watermelon pants.
Finrod blep. :p
(not my pictures)
We were all deceived! :)
Elrond is the real Sauron. He is in Eregion charming and helping Celebrimbor make the rings, and earning the trust of the dwarves using politics, bringing them together to secretly take them all down. This is why he has the ability to teleport between places and he is so skilled in breaking rocks (secret blacksmith). Halbrand is just a distraction who dont know if he is suppose to be from the south or early rohan.
You never know in this show. It could be true :) Elrond does seem to get every other characters story except for his own so far so....
edit: I just figured out this is why the painting in Numenor looks so weird. Sauron went there and photoshopped himself over Elrond. That is why "Elrond" looks so different then the rest of the painting.
