I'm Abdelrahman, 22 Years Old. My Journey Has Been Marked By Loss And Resilience. When I Was 18,my Father
I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been marked by loss and resilience. When I was 18, my father passed away from COVID-19. Determined to build my own future, I pursued an education in multimedia technology, balancing my studies with work to cover my expenses. I was preparing to establish my home and life.

My mother: the princess whom we strive to make happy and satisfy. ❤️️

However, the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought devastating tragedy. My home, university, job, and family were all destroyed in the conflict. While my family moved to the south, I was in the north, facing famine and moving from place to place, trying to survive.

Our street used to be lively and full of people, but it is no longer like that.

I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.
I have survived many times,I was hit by a missile in previously destroyed house
This picture is enough to show our suffering in getting flour to survive.

My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.
Your help can save a family from death, it can save a dream, an ambition, or a success, so please help me by donating or publishing my story so that I can save my family.

The first goal is completed ✅
Tears of joy mixed with feelings of gratitude to everyone who stood by me, those who spent their time and effort in order to reach my first goal.
Thanks and gratitude are due to:
1. The friends who pinned my story to the top of their page, those are great people.
2. The supporters, each with his name and title, are people of goodness and giving.
3. For those who proposed new ideas, the idea of artistic paintings, a march, and selling bread, they are the unknown soldiers.
4. These amazing activists who share daily updates are like dynamos who never stop serving those in need.
5. Friends who sent the campaign link to their friends and family outside this application, those who have humanity in their hearts.
I inform you that, thanks to you, I will move to a safer place than the old one.
I will spend part of the expenses of the first goal on transportation to the new place and save the remainder for the second goal, which is purchasing building materials, as this is considered the primary goal of the campaign. I inform you that I refrained from going to Deir al-Balah because of the astronomical costs of rent and the outrageous high prices.
I do not want the donation money to go to no avail, and for this money to remain in the circle of the primary goal, which is building a house.
Notice: The second goal will be to reach $20,000 CAD to purchase basic building materials for the house.
My friends who stood by me, I shower you with hugs and love you very much.❤️😭🫂

Moving towards the second goal 20.000$

There is an extreme shortage of eSIMs right now! If you have some money to spare please consider buying eSIMs for those in Gaza.

Organizer: @/mirna_elhelbawi

Proof of eSIMs purchase also counts towards ficsforgaza so feel free to use your receipt towards requesting a fic from the 100+ creators on our masterlist.
This is critical to keep the people of Gaza connected to the rest of the world.
Please Help Haya

Hello my friends on Tumblr! I would love for you to meet Haya, my brother Safwat’s daughter. Haya had a happy and safe life in her family home in Gaza, just like any other child. Unfortunately, due to the Gaza war, she had to leave her home and now lives in a hot, run-down plastic tent. I am reaching out to ask for help for Haya and her family to leave Gaza and move to Egypt, where they can have a safe and happy life, just like children all over the world. Thank you for being so supportive.

I want more people to know that while the Palestine Olympic team consists of only 8 athletes, at least 69 Palestinian Olympic athletes have been killed since October 2023. This includes athletes who were going to compete in these games and retired athletes such as Majed Abu Maraheel, the first Palestinian Olympian, who died of kidney failure in a refugee camp product of lack of medical treatment.
Remember them during these games.
I've recently gone to Amman, Jordan to visit family this summer and the heat over there is absolutely unbearable. I've been across Jordan for multiple years of my life, and the heat this year is nothing like I've experienced. Even residents who live there all the time remark about the unusual heat and can't make plans during the day. They have to wait til the evening to go out for any chores or activities they need to do.
And this is in Amman, which is a city built on mountains. In the desert, which I've also been to recently, you HAVE to stay inside because the sun is just so powerful.
The only thing I could think of while in this heat, was that those in Gaza must be suffering so so much. At least in Amman, there are houses and some air condition... in Gaza, there's almost nothing to protect them from the angry sun except for makeshift tents. And even then, the tent does not have air condition so a lot of the time is stuffy and overheated in the tent itself! Not to mention the lack of water to hydrate with!
I really want to emphasize that even just existing in a tent is a life or death scenario for Gazans who barely have any water and no air conditioning at all. It's difficult to exaggerate just how extreme this heat is and for people who have had everything taken away from them, this is yet another burden they have to deal with while being abandoned by the entire world.
