The first time Kon spends the night at Ma and Pa Kent’s

I 100% subscribe to the idea that Tim and Damian are both autistic, just in the opposite direction which causes friction between them

They’re autistic in the way that pisses the other off

Tim messy room from executive dysfunction VS Damian neat room from need for order/cleanliness

Tim likes bland simple foods (to avoid being overwhelmed) VS Damian who needs lots of flavor or else feels like he’s eating cardboard (because he needs stimulation)

Tim is very sarcastic VS Damian who often doesn’t pick up on it and it flies over his head

Tim has never not masked a day in his life (which leads to his perpetual exhaustion) VS Damian who has very flat tone and facial expressions

Tim needs background noise to help him focus (music, rain, etc) VS Damian who needs complete silence to focus

Tim paces as a stim VS Damian who gets agitated by the distracting movements

Tim avoids animals because he can’t stand having drool/fur on him or his clothes VS Damian who adores animals and finds their presence comforting

They do have some similarities though

Both have special interests (although in different subjects)

Both are very particular about textures with clothing and bedsheets/blankets

Both favor dim lighting due to sensory issues

Both need alone time

Both hate other people being in their private space

Both touch starved and touch averse at the same time (and being very particular about what kind of touch is good vs bad, and what circumstances touch is allowed in, etc)

Both have Bruce as a father who is also autistic, and because of that diagnosis is delayed because they compare their “normalness” to him and other family members (who are also ND in someway)

Both can struggle to tell whether someone is joking/teasing or serious which leads to a lot of miscommunication between them (and the multiple past murder attempts do NOT help)

They do love and care about each other (though they will never admit it), but can only enjoy spending time together in small doses since a lot of their autistic traits are incompatible with the other’s. But they can also bond over their autism which is cute <3

Batfam Pokemon Teams

Bruce, Alfred, Dick, Babs, Jason, Tim, Steph, Cass, Damian, & Duke

[Batman: Absol, Bisharp, Noivern, Gengar, alolan Marowak]

[Brucie: shiny Altaria]

[Just Bruce: day form Lycanroc]

Noivern is his main pokemon partner when acting as Batman. I chose Noivern out of all the bat pokemon because it’s huge wingspan is big enough to carry most (if not all) of the batkids

Bruce met Cubone in the aftermath of his parents deaths and they bonded hard. They were both heavily into punk bands much to Alfred’s dismay

The rest of his Batman Pokemon he caught while training around the world.

I gave him a Bisharp for the “Dark Knight” aspect. An Absol because they sense disasters and would come real in handy for a hero. And a Gengar because he spooky.

Both Absol and Gengar can mega evolve. So can Altaria, but Brucie pretends like she’s harmless so it rarely happens

As Brucie Altaria is his main pokemon. She’s a shiny because he’s Extra like that

Both Noivern and Altaria and dragon/flying types, yet they are inverses of each other, which I find v interesting narratively speaking

Lycanroc aka Ace acts as an emotional support pokemon for the family

Batman is hyper competent at battles. So as Brucie he pretends to be terrible at them. Forgetting type match ups and not using his keystone because he thinks it’s just a fancy rock.

Hakoda and Bato being a couple is so big brained, especially when he goes from dad’s bestie to stepdad.

Sokka and Katara’s reactions would be so funny. I think Katara might have known, but Sokka would’ve had zero idea and been totally blindsided lmao. Then he busts out all the dad jokes and the dads join in, meanwhile Katara is suffering.

Seeing Janet in that alternate universe gave me Thoughts

That Janet is giving me absent minded history professor vibes who sometimes forgets she has a kid depending on her (like she’s loving when he’s there, but if he’s not in her line of sight he easily slips to the back of her mind)

Also Jack wasn’t there so I wish her a very happy divorce

Batfam Pokemon Teams

Bruce, Alfred, Dick, Babs, Jason, Tim, Steph, Cass, Damian, & Duke

[Alfred: Inteleon, Indeedee, Vivillon, Polteageist, Micinno, Alcremie]

Inteleon is from Alfred’s days as a spy for British (or Galarian) intelligence

Now Inteleon follows around Bruce and the kids to make sure they don’t get themselves killed. Literal spy work was less stressful rip Inteleon

Alfred caught a Vivillon during his time in France (or Kalos) and now it helps him garden

As a butler, Alfred has many pokemon that help him around the house

Indeedee for general duties, Micinno for cleaning/dusting, Polteageist for serving tea, and Alcremie for baking

These pokemon regularly get distracted from their jobs by the kids’ shenanigans (and yes kids includes Bruce because he is Alfred’s man child)
