as much as it pains me to say this, I have decided that I will not be writing coterie any further. I’ve hit immense writer’s block with the story, and I’m not motivated in the slightest bit to write anymore of it. I have other ideas that I would rather write, so I’m sorry to anyone who’d been waiting to read more. I thank you all for your support and love as always, and I hope to write new content for you guys.

[10:39 p.m.] (warning: dark humor since we’re talking cards against humanity lmfao) “okay, it’s my turn,” you breathed out, and set your cards down, picking up a black card. you read aloud, “what’s that smell?” a smile played along your lips as you watched your friends hurriedly look at their cards. you recently bought the game cards against humanity, which you think by far, has been one of your best investments. haechan grinned and set the first card down, before trying to peek at jisung’s cards. pushing him away, jisung slowly set down the next card, followed by jaemin, mark, chenle, jeno then finally your crush!renjun. you shuffled the cards, and began to read each card aloud, trying to show a minimal amount of reaction. “what’s that smell? coughing into a vagina; Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II; mouth herpes; poor life choices; bees?; Keanu Reeves; and Mr. Clean, right behind you.

“I have to say this is quite the bunch, but I narrowed it down to these three: the Queen one, the Mr. Clean one and poor life choices.” this made chenle and jaemin groan, while jisung said, “it was a shit card anyway,” with mark agreeing regarding his card. “sorry, but I think the winner is the Queen card.” renjun clapped at this, and taking the black card from your hand, fingers colliding gently with your own. the two of you blushed at this, and haechan simply groaned, “of course he wins! you literally love him!” renjun’s ears went red hearing this, and your eyebrows shot up, reaching for the pillow next to you and aimed it right for haechan, telling him “shut up!” the boys dodged it easily and everyone laughed at your antics, before quickly moving on to making mark the judge for the next round. you picked up your cards hastily, but throughout the rest of the night, you and renjun exchanged secret glances at one another, haechan’s words echoing in both of your heads.

[3:37 p.m.] you found it difficult to type with one hand, since jaehyun was adamant in interlocking his hand with yours. “let go for a second, babe, I’m almost done sending this email.” jaehyun smiled at you, his dimple creating a shadow as the light from his computer reflected against his skin. it was dark and the only real sources of light were coming from both of your computer screens, but you didn’t need them because he still looked beautiful. “not a chance, honey. i’m never letting go.”

[9:01 a.m.] at first, it was little things: the lingering scent of a feminine sort of vanilla on his jacket, when you clearly only wore floral scents. then, his long phone calls that went late into the night, leaving you in bed alone. you didn’t think too much of these things, and in fact, you didn’t want to think about them. you’ve your own shit to deal with, this is the least of your problems. that’s where you fucked up, because well, this could’ve been taken care of far earlier, and could’ve saved you much pain.

when things escalated, and suddenly johnny was home less and less, you began to really feel the loneliness. the breaking point was finding a hickey on his neck that you did not give him one morning, when you happened to wake up before him. you managed to catch a glimpse of a text message that arrived to his phone minutes later, from a contact named soojin. the message?

last night was great, but I wish you would’ve stayed for some cuddles 😩♥️

so now, you’re doing what you have to do. you are quietly pulling out a carrier and putting a few days’ worth of clothes into it, quickly packing your important things, before heading out the front door, leaving the following note by his bedside: “two days is all you get. pack up your shit and get out of my apartment. go stay with soojin, I’m sure she’d love to have her boyfriend stay at her place. if you’re not out of here in two days’ time, I’m calling the landlord to kick you out, I don’t give a fuck. don’t try to call or text me, johnny suh, because it’s pointless. I’ve let this continue for long enough. I’m tired and don’t have the energy nor the time to deal with this. goodbye.”

which new trope would you like to try writing? I wanna try writing a e2l but kinda gradually build up to that relationship so i’m probably gonna start small then kinda work my way up! I also wanna do something horror-based!

which trope do you want to write again? I wrote/am still writing a mafia!au and I had a lot of fun with some of the older tropes I incorporated into that so maybe something along those lines!

which drafts are you most excited to post? right now a lot of them are still ideas?? hahaha but there is something I wanna start on asap, along the lines of rival camp counselors, mayhaps???

new genre you want to explore? hmmm maybe sci-fi? I really like the variety that’s in that genre. also horror, mystery and thrillers? I don’t do a lot of that on this blog, but I feel like I have enough background to write about that stuff!

do you have a favourite line in any of your drafts right now? “stoner? I prefer the word... cannabis enthusiast. or I guess, that’s two words.”

have you decided on any creative goals for 2021? maybe to think a little more realistically. I thought I would be able to crank out all these series, but it’s so difficult while also being a student and I work, too. I’m just gonna take it slow and focus on quality over quantity.

describe your journey on this blog in the last year in three words! and three more words for what you hope for 2021! for the past year, I would say: didn’t think realistically... I’ll be honest, in the beginning of 2020, my blog had been blowing up because of my x1 series, and they soon disbanded after that which meant either people lost interest or they didn’t want to read it anymore. I was very quickly starting to lose motivation to continue writing, period. however, I came out of that, and still have decided to finish the series, as well as expand on my main purpose, which was writing for nct. I hope that 2021 brings: even better stories. I have some ideas that I’m really excited to bring out from the drafts, and I hope that once they are out, they do well :))
