Not my proudest drawing rn wahhhhh,,, I dont know what went south; thought i could save it once the colors have been laid down but noooooo, so i went and gave it a red overlay to make it more ominous and vibrant, eehhhhhh still not vibing with it. But someone said that they liked the coloring when they saw it and that made me feel a lil better with what i've created :') you know who you are so ty very much for saying that :DD xoxo

beep beep sometimes when you have been in survival mode for a long time the parts of you dedicated to Wanting Things atrophy and you forget how to envision a future that feels rewarding because you are busy with the business of staying alive, and it can seem like your life must be pointless because you can’t imagine any long term goals. sometimes even when you leave survival mode you can’t remember how to Want Things. that doesn’t mean you need to give up on having a good and fulfilling life, it just means that Wanting Things is a muscle you need to gradually strengthen. the part of you that has dreams and aspirations is still there, it just fell asleep, but if you wiggle it enough it can and will regain feeling. it’s okay to start small

i've created this poem when i was on my way to my school, and had this literal brain fart SFHJDGS i still couldn't forget that moment. it was literally a random moment, like-- SKFJDHGKS

the first version of it was improved or changed (idk if it was an improvement LOLOL) when i had my creative writing class. the original was shorter, only having the last two lines of the poem. but since our class required a standard stanza of a poem, i had to fix it to ten syllables aaaaaand here we are! :D

i might add another version of this if i finish the drawing (to which i haven't started yet.)
