The anime clip uploaded by Gosar was essentially a photoshopped video of the season 1 opening for Attack on Titan, a popular Japanese anime.

Attack on Titan became a popular anime to parody during Trump's presidential campaign as the anime involves characters defending the walls of the city.

Numerous Trump-related Attack on Titan parodies can be found on YouTube and have been watched more than a million times combined.

The first season is the beginning of the story. The main characters didn't know who they were and what the titans were. Therefore, people who do not have interests in it, new fans might still see the titans as "immigrants".

The insurrection on January 6th shocked the world. Now the op could remind many of the insurrection rather than US immigration issues. On the day, MAGA mobs could kill the Democratic politicians and the oncoming Biden administration.
