When people say non binary genders are "made up" I think that, well, all genders are made up. It just so happens that the feminine and masculine genders are tied to sexes, but they don't even base themselves on that fully, they add things that are completely unrelated to biology. Why does being afab mean one should like pink and flowers and be associated to a freaking planet? Where in the chromosomes does it say that? I'm sorry, but my friend's they/them pronouns make as much sense as your he/him ones.
