How to steal an army:

Anakin, former slave and very paranoid about such issues, decides one day during a boring ride through hyperspace to hack into kaminos files on the clones. This is about 1 year into the war.

He finds records of the chips and other fucked up experiments. Has a small meltdown. Calls Padme to calm himself down. Then decides, well i wanted to be a jedi to free slaves. Time to free the GAR.

He cooks up a plan with Ahsoka and Rex (once they are done with their own freakouts), They decide to kidnap the troopers. Anakin knows Obi-wan will try to talk him down in to a different less drastic plan, so he kidnaps Obi-wan as well. Cant argue if hes part of the treason.

Anakin talks Obi-wan around to the idea. It takes about 3 days. Obi-wans main argument is how are they supposed to steal an entire army and where would they go with them? When he does give in he contacts a few other jedi he knows would also be down with the plan.

Plo barely hears the words "free the clones" before absconding with his men.

They take Kamino. Cant leave the tubies and cadets.

Palpatine is sitting back in in his office like "Anakin hasnt called in a few days... I should check up on that." Only to keep getting sent to voicemail.

The other jedi kinda look at each other and sigh. It would be Skywalker of all people to steal the entire army. Of course Kenobi would follow after him.... Has anyone seen Plo?

let's face it, Obi-Wan is only a stickler for the rules in comparison to Anakin. this guy thought lightsaber nunchucks were cool as a teenager and jumping out of politicians windows was cool as an adult. he regularly sasses the chancellor of the republic. he saw Anakin and Padmé being super obvious and decided it was none of his business. he sits pussy facing the world in important meetings. hes's a lonely single in your area. he won one (1) fight against a sith lord and decided they were his speciality despite getting his ass handed to him by Dooku multiple times. he's annoying on purpose as a battle strategy. every man he meets desires him carnally and he doesn't notice. he puts one foot on Han Solos ship and is like "damn bitch you live like this" despite having spent 20 years in a desert hole. he gets himself killed to one-up Vader one last time. he's winning the idgaf war
