Germans Final National Finalists In A Nutshell
đ«germans final national finalists in a nutshellđ«
Eros Atomus â âaliveâ: it's great to be alive. BUT INTERESTING VOICE. 4/5
Felicia Lu â âanxietyâ: okay-ish. Catchy. 2,5/5
MaĂ«l & Jonas â âI swear to godâ: they are so sympathetic. 3/5
Emily Roberts â âsoapâ: I like her but I am not a huge fan of the song. 2/5
NKSN, Team Liebe, Buket, EMY, Nico Suave â âHallo Weltâ: Well, it's German, which would be great, because it's not in English (there is minor part, where they sing the chorus in English but that's fine by me.) 4.5/5
Malik Harris â âRockstarsâ: calm. probably a song I can vibe with. 3,5/5
â MY TOP 3 â
1. âHallo Weltâ (first language bonus)
2. âaliveâ (interesting voice)
3. âRockstarsâ (just vibing)
â opinion part â
It's safe to say that all songs are very mainstream but -I have to defend Germany now- many of last year's entries [that had been voted from the semifinals to the grand final] had a mainstream sound. So it is the logical conclusion to send a mainstream entry this year. *But* if I was allowed to vote for the german act, I would vote for the German song because a) it's mainstream but at least German and the message is acceptableđ and b) if they end up last then they aren't alone, because they are many. :)
Yeah, so I am interested in the result of the national final on the 4th of March with đ«Babarađ«. [If you are German, you can vote for your favorite act from the 28th of February on the radio websites? Until the national final, I guess?]
But if Germany is lucky enough, they might get EC to Eurovision. [Who haven't been nominated/listed but there is a petition going on.]
âi also said in my last year's Eurovision post that I start listening to the songs after the semifinals and I have to correct this because I have a soft spot for pre-last placed Germany. Therefore, I always check them out earlier & also to warm up with their entry because some of Germany's entries are actually nice sometimes when you had time to listen to them more often.đ â please don't judge me for this.

Aang: Sorry, but you're under arrest for robbery.
Zuko: What did I steal?
Aang, trying not to cry: My heart.

THIS. THIS MADE ME SO ANGRY BECAUSE SHEâS BLAMING HIM AGAIN. SHE IS BLAMING A POOR KID THAT TRIED TO MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER FOR HIS GOD DAMN FAMILY AND ALL HE GETS IS THIS RESPONSE. LIKE DO YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT AGE HE WAS WHEN SHIT STARTED? WHEN EURUS KILLED REDBEARD AND HE HAD TO COMFORT AND CHANGE HIS BROTHERâS MEMORY. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW GUILTY HE FELT? DO YOU THINK ABOUT HOW STRESSED THIS MAN IS ABOUT EVERYTHING AND THE FACT THAT HE IS RAISING YOUR GOD DAMN CHILDREN AND MAKES SURE THAT EURUS GETS WHAT SHE WANTS? WHERE WERE YOU WHEN SHERLOCK WAS USING DRUGS? WHY ARENâT YOU MAKING A LIST? WHERE WERE YOU WHEN HE SEARCHED FOR HIS LITTLE BROTHER? DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE IS ALWAYS WEARING THAT GUN-SWORD-UMBRELLA BECAUSE HE IS ALWAYS IN A DEFENSIVE MOOD BECAUSE WHEN HE TOOK THE JOB HE KNEW THE RISKS IT INVOLVED? SO NO LADY, HE SOULDNâT HAVE DONE BETTER. YOU SHOULDâVE RAISED YOUR CHILDREN. YOU SHOULDâVE DONE BETTER. YOU SHOULDâVE THINK ABOUT THE BROTHER THAT RAISED YOUR OTHER CHILDREN WHEN YOU WERENâT THERE.
