💫germans final national finalists in a nutshell💫

Eros Atomus — “alive”: it's great to be alive. BUT INTERESTING VOICE. 4/5

Felicia Lu — “anxiety”: okay-ish. Catchy. 2,5/5

Maël & Jonas — “I swear to god”: they are so sympathetic. 3/5

Emily Roberts — “soap”: I like her but I am not a huge fan of the song. 2/5

NKSN, Team Liebe, Buket, EMY, Nico Suave — “Hallo Welt”: Well, it's German, which would be great, because it's not in English (there is minor part, where they sing the chorus in English but that's fine by me.) 4.5/5

Malik Harris — “Rockstars”: calm. probably a song I can vibe with. 3,5/5

★ MY TOP 3 ★

1. “Hallo Welt” (first language bonus)

2. “alive” (interesting voice)

3. “Rockstars” (just vibing)

★ opinion part ★

It's safe to say that all songs are very mainstream but -I have to defend Germany now- many of last year's entries [that had been voted from the semifinals to the grand final] had a mainstream sound. So it is the logical conclusion to send a mainstream entry this year. *But* if I was allowed to vote for the german act, I would vote for the German song because a) it's mainstream but at least German and the message is acceptable👍 and b) if they end up last then they aren't alone, because they are many. :)

Yeah, so I am interested in the result of the national final on the 4th of March with 💫Babara💫. [If you are German, you can vote for your favorite act from the 28th of February on the radio websites? Until the national final, I guess?]

But if Germany is lucky enough, they might get EC to Eurovision. [Who haven't been nominated/listed but there is a petition going on.]

‘i also said in my last year's Eurovision post that I start listening to the songs after the semifinals and I have to correct this because I have a soft spot for pre-last placed Germany. Therefore, I always check them out earlier & also to warm up with their entry because some of Germany's entries are actually nice sometimes when you had time to listen to them more often.😅’ please don't judge me for this.

Look where we are

🌸It's Eurovision time🌸

This year it was diverse and I enjoyed seeing it. & I will talk about my favorites now. <3 (from all songs, not only the final songs.)

I'll start with my 1 point and then going up to 12. :)

Moldova & Romania — 1pt.

Look Where We Are

I know it's technically not allowed to have two countries getting one point, but both songs are great. I MEAN TRAINS AND BISEXUAL VIBES. love it.

Portugal — 2pts.

Look Where We Are

Saudade. I like the choir vibe. Yes. That's it. ^^

Austria — 3pts.

Look Where We Are

Well, it's not a HUGE surprise for me that Austria didn't qualify, but this is 10/10 the best gym song this year.

Germany — 4pts.

Look Where We Are

This song is UNDERRATED and also quite catching. They won't win, but personally, some entries are worse. So actually the last place would be undeserved.

The Netherlands — 5pts.

Look Where We Are

I know, I know it's a ballad and we hate them here, but I AM WHO I AM AND SOME NICE BALLADS ARE GREAT AND ACCEPTED.

Italy — 6pts.

Look Where We Are

Their vibe. Also, I enjoy the song.

Latvia — 7pts.

Look Where We Are

I swear Europe did them dirty.

Australia — 8pts.

Look Where We Are

I am not going to apologize for this. I know people debating about Australian participation in general (i don't have a problem with that). The song is nice and it's authentic.

Norway — 10pts.

Look Where We Are

I like it, gives me Eurovision vibes.

Ukraine — 12 pts

Look Where We Are

Is this a political vote? I suppose. Is it also a sign of solidarity? Yeah. Is it important? YAA. Do I accept people that have another favorite and will vote for them? Sure. Do I accept that not all “professional” juries will give 12 points to them? Yes. But it would be nice if they would be the winner of the contest. <3
