Its a shiny boi! Inspired by a rainbow stag beetle, I figured that a holographic design would be fun. This was my first design trying to paint it, so I went a bit overboard with it. Either way, I like how it turned out.

I’ve finished it! Mostly based on the last plague doctor art I had been working on, I really like how this turned out, and trying a new coloring style payed off. Critique is always welcome! :)

I use Clip Studio Paint for my art, a program that has a heavy focus on comic and manga art. Today I decided that I would start to play around with some of the provided features, and sketch out a potential comic page, with some of bugs I enjoy drawing.

The first pass of his design is done, and some notes about his backstory! :) 

The anatomy is pretty messy on the more detailed sketch, but I tried out a few elements that I like. The chain and dagger on his hip are both new, the robe over his shoulder was something I was considering in the first sketch. Overall though, I like his original face more.

Hello! Yet again, I’m working on an OC that I will likely never use for anything once I finish him.

He’s based on the prompt “Half Gargoyle” and this is the first sketch I’ve done of him so far. I’ll probably spend some time today working on a few other designs for him, and at least one full body sketch.
