Should I Reblog My Own Art? I Mean, It Is A Way For More People To See It And Ive Seen A Bunch Of People
Should I reblog my own art? I mean, it is a way for more people to see it and I’ve seen a bunch of people telling others to reblog artists (which I agree but forget every damn time) but I refrain to because of a few reasons.
It seems arrogant to reblog yourself. Like, yeah, we get we it, you think you’re better at making Yuri/Yaoi art than anyone on tumblr, or why Hazbin Hotel sucks, but kindly stfu.
Posts talking about reblogging others because “that’s what tumblr is for” seem pressuring and guilt-tripping. Like I’m sorry I only liked your ramblings on what it’s like to have a dommy werewolf bf, but it isn’t worth a reblog in MY eyes. Also, you can tell me what to do, I’ll use Tumblr how I want!
Like, I feel prideful about my art but not like “Vegeta, Prince of all Saiyans” levels of pride. I feel a bit irritated when people only like my art and not commenting or reblogging on what they like about it, but if my art only deserves a like in their eyes then that’s totally understandable.
But now I’m realizing that people might think I’m attention seeking and fishing for reblogs and now I don’t know what to think anymore
