And also Ed did *temporarily* get his body back in 03. Before he ended up on the otherside of the Gate until COS; You can see he got his arm back and we can assume his leg got back.

So in 03 Al did fulfill his promise, but it was only for like 5 minutes lol

I just think about it from time to time (bullshit), Ed managed to keep his promise because he was able to get Al his body back, but because theyre stuck on the other side of the Gate, Theres no way to get Ed’s arm and leg returned to him, so Al cant fulfill his promise to Ed and that fills me with despair :,(

i think its very easy to forget that alphonse is also kind of a little shit because he has no facial expression besides constant armor induced mewing and owo but then you read the 4komas and other such extras like the games and he always says shit like niisan this is why youre not popular. its all your fault ed it always is. im taller and cooler and more handsome than my brother. this is the effect of being raised by edward elric, whos special skill is being a hater.
