forever in awe of people who pay attention. people who wait for you while you tie your shoes while the others have walked away. when they continue listening intently while the rest of the group stopped listening. noticing your moments of silence when everyone else hasn’t. “this made me think of you” noticing things you never even noticed about yourself. people who say “text me when you get home safe.” people who make you laugh until you cry. childhood friends who keep in touch. people with genuine intentions. people who are soft when the world has given them every opportunity to turn hard. the “let’s get ice cream” at 3am friend. the turn up the music in the car and sing friend. people whose actions match their words. people who make the world feel less chaotic. kindred spirits. the trustworthy and honest. hard workers. good listeners. clear communicators. people who love you for who you are. people who don’t ask you to be anything other than yourself. people who choose you. people who stay.

Apparently, my decision to be silly and make fanart of someone's writing (because I genuinely enjoy the story the person is writing and I was struck with inspiration upon reading a particular scene) has benevolent and wildly unforeseen consequences.
I apparently gained a bit of control of the canon because said writer really loved the art and decided what I drew/draw is canon.
2. Writer put said artwork into the document of his story right below the scene, so now it's IN the story where people who read the story will see it (with a link to me)
3. He sent the artwork to all his friends and people he knows because he was so excited
Wholesome interaction and I watched him do all that in real time, good stuff. However...there are two more consequences I was notified of today...nearly a full week after I gave the artwork.
Seeing the artwork caused his friends to become interested in reading and hearing about his story, which means more people are reading what he's writing and giving him critique on the story (which he actively asks for).
Apparently, upon seeing the art, his writer friends got a sudden second wind to pick back up writing they'd abandoned for a few months. Because, I quote, "seeing that someone enjoyed {his} writing enough to take the time to make art of it gave them the motivation that maybe THEY can write something that will inspire someone to also create something." I have accidentally caused a writing frenzy among his writer friends and my silly idea to make art for someone has had a butterfly effect for people who I don't even know.
Uhh...I'm pretty sure there's a moral here but I am tired and have a great deal of emotions about this.

Bio
Personal Information
You can call me SIMP. I chose this name for my online persona because, uh, it describes me.
My preferred pronouns are she/her, but I’m fine with being referred to as they/them or even "hey, you!" to keep myself more mysterious lol.
I am queer. This is purposefully meant to be an umbrella label of sorts.
While I don’t feel comfortable sharing my exact age, I will say that I’m in my late teens (includes 9TEEN).
I am currently studying Criminology.
I am Swedish-Mexican-American.
I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Swedish, so if there is anyone who feels more comfortable/fluent in one of those languages, please feel free to express yourself accordingly.
I am high-functioning AuDHD (autistic + ADHD).
Interests
I love learning, and info-dumping teaching others what I learn as well. I am considering becoming a professor at a university (in the future). What would I teach? Anything that I found interesting enough to teach lol.
I love reading. I will read almost anything. This includes nonfiction and fiction (history, science, psychology, philosophy, etc; romance, fantasy, horror, mystery, sci-fi, classics, etc).
I love writing. I am considering a career as an author.
I both read and write fanfiction. You can check the page labeled “Fics” for more information (only if you’re interested, of course).
I love dancing. I am also considering becoming a professional dancer and/or choreographer.
I am deep in the trenches of K-Pop and K-Dramas.
I also love webtoons and webnovels.
I love C-Dramas, as well as danmei and baihe. I also love wuxia and xianxia. (danmei, baihe, wuxia, and xianxia are genres of Chinese, uh, literature?? Media???)
Anime and manga have, for several years now, held me in a chokehold.
I love learning about other countries, cultures, and their histories. Right now I’m fixated on the giant continent of Asia (all of Asia, not just China, South Korea, and Japan, though I gush over those as well).
I love learning languages. I hope to become an extreme hyper-polyglot (a hyper-polyglot is defined as someone who is fluent in at least six languages). I am currently teaching myself Korean and Japanese, which will be my fourth and fifth language respectively.

#(my) original means that I wrote it myself, so it's an original work. This is mostly in regards to school assignments and any original writing, as fanfiction and metas will be tagged differently.
#(my) translation means that I translated it myself. This is in regards to literally whatever I post, in any of the languages I am fluent in.
#meta means just that - I wrote a meta.
Language tags just means that that specific post is in the language I tagged it in, i.e. a psychology essay written in English is tagged as #english.
The current language tags I have are: #english, #spanish, #swedish.
#school means that it is school-related - an assignment that I, for some reason, am proud of/want to share, or class material/syllabus that I decided to transcribe and post for fun.
#fics means anything regarding specifically my fanfiction. On the other hand, #fanfiction can be related to anything from fics I recommend/enjoy, to analyses of fanfiction, to simply fanfiction in general.
#bio is short for biographical, in this case. So, anything that has to do with me irl.
if you give “stupid” characters rural/southern accents i don’t like you and if you give “smart” characters rural/southern accents but it’s a punchline i don’t like you even more
