The Second Game Got Spoiled For Me Too
The second game got spoiled for me too 😔
I became a fan when episode 1 aired in January, I liked one tiktok about it and then for some reason the algorithm put a clip of Joel’s death on my page the next day 😠no spoiler warning or nothing. I ended up falling down the rabbit hole and watching all the game play so I could find out why it happened
Somehow my friend was able to go the entire season without any spoilers??? And she has no clue about what’s to come next season?? She’s got a big storm coming lmao
I'm sorry, anon :(
dude? that freaking sucks :( I didn't even like anything related to tlou on tiktok until after I watched it, I think? but I got spoilers for the show literally the day after it started airing, so the show also got spoiled for me.
I thought Sarah was gonna die later on, so let me tell you, her death hit even harder cause I thought she'd actually be in the show more :( I also knew about David beforehand? so everytime there was snow, I was terrified for Ellie. for the 6th episode, I was not calm or relaxed or anything, because there was snow everywhere, so when her and Joel split? I was STRESSING. I also knew Joel got injured? didn't know how, so I assumed he got bit? and then I saw scenes from the second game and figured he'd die because of it? like, obviously, he would, but I wasn't sure if it was a bite. so I assumed he'd die from whatever injury it was
but yeah, tiktok kept showing me stuff from the second game once I started saying I wasn't interested in the show stuff?? and there were no warnings or anything, so I knew of the golfing before I even watched anything. but everyone was calling it the golfing or saying the two went golfing, so I genuinely thought Joel and Ellie went golfing? I was very confused lmao also didn't realize it happened SO quickly??? I thought I'd have more time 😠I also accidentally found out about Abby being the surgeon's daughter? that one's kinda my own fault, so I'm not mad about it, but it would've been nice to keep that a surprise. I also knew Ellie had a baby? did not know it was Dina's and just thought Ellie somehow got pregnant? saw a bunch of the birthday flashback scenes, but that one was happy, so I didn't mind that much. after a certain point, I decided I just needed to watch it before the whole thing got spoiled for me
your friend is so lucky??? she has a HUGE storm coming, oh my lord ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ one of my friends also doesn't know what's coming and I am SO envious of her. like, she even offered to watch it so I could ramble to her about it? we love her so very much for that, but I told her to go into this blind. she did tell me that I'll be the first person she talks to when the season comes out, though! because this is my special little show (she told me this like twice, but it has just stuck with me hehe)

It’s in Joel’s house?? 😠he pry kept it because it’s the closest thing he’d ever get to a family photo
it is! it's by the corner with all his liquor 😠(I really need to rewatch the second game, so I can't give you specifics, but it should be in the kitchen)
ANON WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I have no words D:
more devastating news, since you're out to get me (/lh), is that he had that picture of him and Sarah on a table (or the mantel? do not emember) and there was a picture of him with Ellie and a horse next to it :( oh, and the picture with Sarah had a candle that was a bit melted. meaning he lit a candle for her, maybe frequently (and no one's there to light it anymore)
also something that doesn't make sense to me is in ep6, Joel goes to put the rifle back on Callus when there's danger? he was holding it all throughout the college campus, but once there was danger, he went to put it away? and then he got stabbed. why did he put it away?
do we think the reason Joel always acts like he isn't hurt is because the last time he did, he didn't realize Sarah was? and that it took time away from her?
AAAAAA there is more devastation to episode 3 :(((((
someone found the letter Bill and Frank wrote (I do not know if it's actually the one, but we're gonna act like it is)

the last line????????? Bill was saying that Joel and Tess could do what he and Frank did, if it ever came to it. it'd be on their own terms, but they didn't get that! they couldn't get that! I am so freaking distraught
Yes!! They foreshadowed his lie about the hospital!
I think it’s to help setup the estrangement- they’re showing how he was always honest and how much she trusted him. Then he took advantage of her trust and lied to her about the thing she cared about the most
yeah! I just never realized that part? I thought it was just when Ellie told him he could've made something up with how the dam worked :)
oh, I can for sure see that! I wouldn't say he only took advantage of her trust, though. I mean, he did, but that wasn't all? as said, they were foreshadowing the lie by her telling him he could make stuff up or even lie to her. so that's what he did. mmmmm, it is mostly him taking advantage of her trust, though. I do not know how to properly articulate this, anon, but it was her trust, along with him finally doing what she's been telling him to do, I feel. they always say third time's the charm. so the first three things he tries to come up with, she tells him he could've lied. so the one thing he could've tried to explain and something that she needed to know the truth on, he takes her up on lying. maybe he just didn't know how to tell her at the time? and then it was just easier to keep it going, which I am sincerely hoping they change for the show cause AAAA no thank you
and yeah! the other things she told him he could lie about didn't really mean a lot to her? like, she grew up in the qz, she's probably seen some shit, so the mass grave? probably didn't affect her that much? like, it did, but not as much as he was probably expecting it to. for the siphon, him making up how it works? that wouldn't affect her at all. like, yeah, she asked, but he didn't necessarily need to lie about it. he could've told her right off the bat that he didn't know how it worked, but she called him out the last time for not making something up. and the dam? he did tell her right off the bat that he didn't know, and then she told him he could just make stuff up. so now, she's caught him three times on lying and not knowing how stuff works, so he might just think it's easier to lie, because she keeps catching him in them. (or he likes doing things in patterns.) but from the past attempts, he should know she'd catch him? and this is a big enough thing that she didn't call him out on it, but she knew immediately that he was lying. like she did all the other times
