In the last 3 weeks of the whole30 I started shedding pounds and seeing a huge change in my body, and I’ve lost 16lbs so far and none of my church dresses fit anymore. I went shopping today and I’m down TWO sizes. I’m not surprised because I realized just how much I would trick myself and eat crap all the time / automatic eating even if I wasn’t hungry etc. I stared doing the whole30 for willpower, but I’ve gained so much more - appreciation for food, understanding of my body and how it works best, the ability to listen to my body. In these last 10 days I’m gonna read “it starts with food” in preparation for the re introduction phase and I just want to gain strength to overcome my cravings and think through them instead of just react. To enjoy my favourite sweets without binging and feeling like I can’t stop. 🙏🏻
