Do you ever worry that you would be a boring main character?
The thing that gets me EVERY TIME I watch ATLA is how fresh-faced tiny Zuko is. Like, he’s a sweet, innocent baby who worries about Uncle Iroh when he hears about Lu Ten and got in trouble with his father in the first place for standing up against a war crime.
It’s amazing how much a scar and an angry expression can change the way we look at him, and how the writers peel away the 2D villain to show us the person beneath.
Half of seeming clever is keeping your mouth shut at the right times.
