“A female with ADHD may be less hyperactive and less impulsive than her male counterpart. I’m gonna to mention this here like I did on Twitter. These are both from Dabb episodes involving convenience store purchases concerning Dean. Busty Asian Besuties has long been a running horny!Dean gag on the show, illustrating Dean’s tendency to seek pleasure with strangers. Pie, as has long been discussed, represents family and wholeness, seeking and yearning for a different kind of pleasure. Cas wasn’t able to get Dean pie in 8x22 because he planned to leave him. It’s a little silent visual thing, but 15x10 represents a marked change in Dean really starting to follow his true desires. He’s interested in taking control and making real pleasure, real truth, for himself. Oh but Chuck is still interfering with that! Dean isn’t able to buy the magazine just yet! Oh but the desire is there. We see it. It’s giving up one thing in order to pursue another in a life well lived.
