"What do you two want?"

"We want to know what your intentions with Rodimus are."

His engine rumbled because they both had a lot of nerve asking him that, after they broke his spark.

"You left him remember. You don't get a say in who he dates."

"We're still his friends and we want to look out for him."

"If you want to look out for him then don't get between us."

"Not going to happen."

Drift glared getting angry even though he had no say in their relationship.

"Rodimus is my amica which means I have to protect him and make sure he doesn't fall in love with the wrong kind of people."

"You already failed at that. After all you let him fall in love with you and Ratchet. Besides breaking his spark. Don't forget that you used to be a Decepticon just like I was. Deadlock."

He watched as he flinched getting a small amount of satisfaction from it. Drift always wanted to act like he was somehow better than the Decepticons, when he was just like them. He might try to hide it but he'll always be Deadlock deep down.

"Our past relationship isn't relevant."

Ratchet tried to argue and he glared.

"Of course it is. Instead of being happy for him you are making everything about yourselves. Coming over here and interrogating me. Instead of trusting Rodimus to make the right decision. He's learned from his mistakes and has found someone who loves him. I will never use Rodimus like you two and I see him as more than some Prime to be worshipped."

"Stop acting all high and mighty Soundwave. You might not be using him for those reasons but I know you're using him."

"How do you know that?"

He crossed his arms glaring at the two of them.

"Because the two of you couldn't be more opposite."

"Haven't you ever heard opposites attract."

"Not in this scenario. We're not going to let Rodimus get hurt when he falls for someone who doesn't love him."

"How dare you!?"

His voice turned to ice as he glared at them. They both shifted looking nervous and he grinned internally, because he was not someone who should be messed with.

"My bond mate knows I love him and that I'm not trying to use him. The only person who's opinion on our relationship that matters is mine and Rodimus."

He watched as they realized what he said. They both stared at him in shock.

"You bonded with Rodimus?"

"When? Rodimus tells me everything. Why didn't he tell me about this?"

"Because he knew you wouldn't be supportive. Now if you excuse me. I have a date with my Conjunx."

He walked away leaving them standing there still in shock with the realization that Rodimus is bonded and has managed to find love without them.

Feeling dizzy he stumbled out of the small room he shared with Soundwave. Legs trembling as he walked. Feeling terrified because he'd never been this sick before and no medic would see them. Not that there were a lot of medics in Kaon anyway.

The moment they saw he was an outlier they'd leave him to die. Claiming that it's what he deserved for being a monster. The only person he could trust was Soundwave. He felt tears fall as he thought about the other youngling. They'd been together since they were sparklings working together to survive. While the world shunned them for who they were.

The worst part was the idea of leaving Soundwave alone when he died. He didn't want Soundwave to join him but he also didn't want him to be alone.

Leaning against the wall he looked at Soundwave who was staring at him with a weird expression.

"What?"

He gave him a confused look. Wondering what he was thinking.

"Why do you smell so good? Did you somehow find a new wax or something?"

"What? No..."

He sniffed himself wondering what Soundwave was talking about.

"What are you...?"

He jumped in surprise to see Soundwave so close.

"What are you doing?"

The youngling paused giving him a confused look.

"I... I don't know. You smell good."

Soundwave leaned closer and he could see the lust in his optics. Feeling freaked out. He took a few steps back wondering what was wrong with him.

Soundwave was clenching his fists as he stared at him in hunger.

"Do you not smell that? You smell amazing."

He smelled himself again and finally noticed it. He wondered if someone had dumped perfume on him. When he felt a wetness between his legs.

Soundwave's engine growled and he noticed him staring between his legs.

"What is it?"

"Your valve panel is open and leaking."

He looked down feeling mortified and then gave his friend a desperate look.

"What is happening to me?"

He panicked in fear.

Soundwave seemed to realize something because he pulled him closer. Ignoring his leaking valve for now.

"You're in heat."

"What? I can't be in heat. That's impossible. That would mean I'm an Omega."

He panicked. Knowing what would happen to him if that was true. He already had to deal with being hated because he was an outlier. Now he had to add being an Omega as well. Even though people didn't like outliers that wouldn't stop Alpha's from trying to hurt him.

He looked around in fear. They were lucky to have found this warehouse at the edge of town but it was no means secure. Anyone walking by could smell him and easily get inside.

He looked at Soundwave who held him close trying to soothe him as his scent turned sour.

He cried into his chest feeling terrified as he imagined all the horrible things that would happen to him.

"It's okay, we'll figure out something. I'll find a way to get you suppressants."

He gave him a shocked look because he knew how hard it was for people like them to get suppressants.

"How are you going to get them?"

"I don't know but I promise you I'll find a way."

Soundwave picked him up and carried him to their "bedroom."

He laid him in the nest they'd made on the floor and rubbed his back soothingly.

"Go to sleep. I'll watch over you and make sure no one hurts you."

He nodded, quickly falling asleep. Trusting Soundwave to watch over him.

Once he knew Hot Rod was asleep. He pulled out the comm he'd been given and called Senator Ratbat, who'd offered him a job because of his outlier. Originally he was going to refuse not wanting to work for someone so evil no matter how desperate he was. But this wasn't about him. This was about Hot Rod and he wasn't going to let anything happen to him. He was going to get him those suppressants.

After the Q-Invasion Perceptor, DeadEnd, Hotrod, Soundwave, Whirl and Clobber goes out to scout for remaining Quentesson troops, but that's not the only thing they did.

The five of them were tasked with tracking down the remaining Quintessons. Which wasn't very hard with Perceptors invention.

While tracking them down they decided to separate. He went with Soundwave who led the way, using Percy's invention which took them to an old warehouse.

Looking inside he noticed two Quintessons. Who were trying to come up with a plan to meet up with the others. Glancing at Soundwave they both pulled out their weapons and attacked. Quickly defeating them. He went to find the others when Soundwave stopped him.

"What?"

"We have time until we have to meet up with the others."

He rubbed his spoiler and he felt a tingle down his spine as he realized what he meant. His valve clenched on nothing and the two started making out. Soundwave pressed him against a wall and he wrapped his legs around him.

"Soundwave please."

He begged as Soundwave kissed him. Licking into his mouth as his hands roamed his body. Touching sensitive areas that made him gasp with need.

Unable to take it anymore he opened his modesty panel. Moaning when Soundwave stuck a finger inside.

"You're so wet for me."

He whined.

"I need you inside of me right now."

Soundwave smirked. Finger slowly stretching him, as he teased him, pressing against his anterior node.

He kicked him urging him to hurry up. Soundwave ignored him of course and left a trail of bite marks along his neck. Uncaring if the others saw.

He whined when Soundwave pulled his fingers out. Only to gasp in pleasure clinging to Soundwave as he felt his spike slip inside.

He moaned mouth open as he pressed against Soundwave. It felt so good and he was desperate for more.

Of course Soundwave decided to go as slow as possible. Stopping not even halfway through and driving him crazy.

"Move."

He begged, trying to fuck himself on his spike. Only to be stopped by Soundwave who grabbed his thighs keeping him pressed against the wall.

He keened as Soundwave's spike pressed against the back of his valve. He pressed a hand against his belly feeling his spike inside of him as it pressed against the entrance to his forge.

Looking up at Soundwave he pleaded with him to move. The Decepticon kissed him and then he was finally fragging him against a wall.

He didn't stop until they'd both come multiple times and were completely spent. Panting he stood there with Soundwave pressing him against the wall, keeping him from falling. Both of them were exhausted but they needed to meet up with the others. Somehow they forced themselves to leave each other's embrace. Although they did stay close. Ignoring the looks the others gave them.

Soundwave wants to confess his love to Hot Rod when he signs the peace treaty. Thanks.

He watched as a crowd formed waiting for the ceremony to begin. He climbed onto the Decepticon float along with the others waiting for the parade to begin.

He shifted, feeling slightly nervous because of what he was about to do. He'd thought about confessing his feelings for a while but didn't want to do it while they were still enemies.

As soon as he finished signing the peace treaty he was going to tell him how he felt.

The only one who knew was Shadow Striker because she walked in on him practicing his speech. It had been embarrassing and she'd been surprised wanting to know what he saw in the Autobot. Only to tease him afterwards for being in love.

He felt the float move revealing them to the waiting crowd who cheered in excitement. He could see the other float slowly getting closer as they reunited in the middle.

Then everything went wrong and they were all frozen by the inferior version of himself. Who'd easily been defeated by the Dinobots.

Afterwards when everyone was being unfrozen he climbed back onto the parade and could see Hot Rod giving him a curious look.

He stepped foward trying not to let Soundblasters words effect him. He didn't know what he was talking about.

The two stood together and both Autobots and Decepticons cheered. He looked at Hot Rod who looked back at him. All of their hard working was finally paying off and the war was about to end.

The peace treaty appeared and the two of them gave a small speech. Hot Rod signed first and then he did as well.

The crowd was so loud you could hear them all across Cybertron as they celebrated the end of the war.

While everyone was distracted he turned to Hot Rod who seemed surprised. Taking his hand he look into his beautiful blue optics and confessed his feelings.

He watched as his optics widened and then he leaned in kissing his mask. Ignoring the cheering crowd around them as everyone watched in surprise and excitement.

He removed his mask and wrapped his arms around his waist. He dipped him and the two kissed. While everyone clapped, whistled and cheered.

Pulling Hot Rod back up. He put his mask back on and took his hand leading him away.

Looking back on it neither of them could remember how exactly they got together. Hot Rod remembered small changes in Soundwave's behavior.

He'd become nicer. More willing to speak with him and allowing him near. He'd still been weary at the time maybe even a little confused.

Soundwave continued to be protective over him. Not wanting other cats getting any ideas. When Hot Rod asked he claimed it was because he didn't want to deal with anyone else and was finally getting used to him.

Optimus and Megatron met up a lot more and even though Soundwave still didn't like Optimus he put up with it.

When Soundwave shared his food he'd been shocked for a moment he thought Soundwave had been replaced.

He'd been so freaked out he went to his friends for help.

"Maybe he likes you."

He shook his head because that was crazy.

"Soundwave's made it pretty clear he doesn't like me."

"Maybe he's changed his mind."

"Maybe he's been replaced by aliens."

"Or maybe he should ask him."

He nodded planning on doing exactly that. The next time they met up he'd ask him about his sudden change in behavior. It wasn't a bad thing and he liked it a lot.

Before he could tell Soundwave his heat started. He'd been hiding under Optimus bed panting and feeling miserable without someone to share it when Soundwave suddenly appeared.

He'd been surprised and also a little weary wanting to know what he wanted. Soundwave had taken care of him acting like a dutiful mate. Even though they weren't together.

He groomed him and made sure he was eating. Helping him build a comfortable nest and finding ways to help with the heat.

It was so amazing and he found himself falling for Soundwave. Although it took them a long time to become mates.

That was when he knew for certain that he wanted Soundwave as his mate.

Hot rod finding soundwave’s youngest minicon thats a sparkling. They were kidnapped by autobots but Hot rod doesn’t know.

He adopts the bitlet and the bitlet claims him as their carrier by the time soundwave finds them

He was awoken by the sounds of crying and got up sleepily following the sound. He was led to a room where two Autobots were holding a sparkling the wrong way. Trying to get him to be quiet and having no idea what they were doing. Both of them were beginning to panic especially when they noticed him.

Without thinking he took the sparkling from their arms and held them. The little one immediately calmed down and he smiled at him.

He rocked the sparkling in his arms singing a lullaby which made the little one fall asleep, obviously exhausted.

Glaring at the other Autobots who stared at him in shock. He left, taking the sparkling back to his room. He didn't have any supplies but he'd worry about that in the morning.

Climbing into bed he carefully moved the sparkling until he was laying next to him. He put a protective arm around him and fell asleep.

He was awoken hours later by the sparkling crying and he felt his chest feel weird. Sitting up. He held the sparkling trying to soothe them. While thinking about where he could get food for them. When his chest plates opened automatically and he found himself pressing the sparkling close on instinct.

He watched as the sparkling latched and it was like a switch went off in his processor. He relaxed bringing the sparkling closer as he drank from him. Feeling a bond form between them.

Once the sparkling was done he closed his chest plating and went to find things for the sparkling. When others on base realized there was a sparkling they helped him get supplies which he was grateful for.

He also talked with Optimus who gave him paperwork to fill out. Stating that he was the sparklings guardian.

He set up the crib near his bed. Wanting his sparkling to be near in case he woke up in the middle of the night.

He also got him some toys and worked on making him a traditional Nyonian blanket gifted to sparklings.

He loved his little one so much and would do anything to protect him. Since he had a sparkling so young he didn't join the others in battle and instead did other things. Like help Perceptor in the lab which he enjoyed. Seeing the scientist as a carrier who was a big help in teaching him him to take care of the sparkling.

He was sitting in bed. Singing his little one a Nyonian song, when his sparkling chirped looking adorable. His little hands reached for him and he pulled him closer, opening his chest plating to let him feed.

He relaxed against the wall holding him close as he sang. Only to be interrupted by an alarm which caused his sparkling to cry.

He felt the building shake and he clutched his sparkling close to his chest realizing they were under attack. He pulled out his knife just in case hoping he didn't have to use it. Not wanting his sparkling to see such violence at a young age. Even though they were at war he'd been hoping to spare his little one.

He closed his chest plating feeling guilty that his sparkling didn't get to finish eating, but he needed to get him to the safe room.

Leaving his room he looked around to see people running towards the fight. He went in the opposite direction. Deeper into the base where the safe room was. He tried to quiet his sparkling who continued to cry as the building shook around them.

Turning a corner his optics widened when he noticed Decepticons. He immediately ran away. Frantically trying to find somewhere where they could hide. Since they'd been cut off from the safe room.

He could hear shouting and blaster fire approach. His spark was beating loudly in his chest as he turned the corner trying to get away.

He ran into Soundwave who reached for him. He took a step back just out of reach. Trying to get away he turned around. Only to be blocked by Ravage who snarled at him.

He glared at Soundwave while holding his sparkling against his chest. Knife pointed at him ready to protect his sparkling until the very end.

Soundwave stared down at him menacingly. Obviously angry about something but he didn't care. He wasn't going to let him hurt his sparkling.

"Stay away from us."

His engine growled in warning and Soundwave reached for him again. He tried to stab him and Soundwave grabbed his arm. He then painfully twisted it until he was forced to let go.

He tried to take another step back and protect his sparkling. When Soundwave grabbed his little one out of his arms. He screamed reaching for his sparkling trying to stop him. Tears fell as he saw his little one in Soundwave's arms. He begged him not to hurt his sparkling who cried and screamed in fear.

"Carrier!"

Soundwave reeled back in shock as his sparkling desperately reached for him. Sobbing he reached back and managed to pull his sparkling away.

He held him close collapsing onto his knees in fear and stress as his sparkling clung to him, both of them crying. He used his body as a shield as he curled into himself.

He begged Soundwave to let his sparkling go. His spoiler shaking as he held his little one who pressed close wanting his carrier.

Soundwave grabbed him and forced him to his feet. He seemed to be lost in thought as he forcefully led him outside where the other Decepticons were retreating.

He was too scared of what would happen to his sparkling if he resisted, so he followed along. Letting Soundwave led him back to a large ship which would take him to the Decepticon base.
