Hot rod finding soundwave’s youngest minicon thats a sparkling. They were kidnapped by autobots but Hot rod doesn’t know.

He adopts the bitlet and the bitlet claims him as their carrier by the time soundwave finds them

He was awoken by the sounds of crying and got up sleepily following the sound. He was led to a room where two Autobots were holding a sparkling the wrong way. Trying to get him to be quiet and having no idea what they were doing. Both of them were beginning to panic especially when they noticed him.

Without thinking he took the sparkling from their arms and held them. The little one immediately calmed down and he smiled at him.

He rocked the sparkling in his arms singing a lullaby which made the little one fall asleep, obviously exhausted.

Glaring at the other Autobots who stared at him in shock. He left, taking the sparkling back to his room. He didn't have any supplies but he'd worry about that in the morning.

Climbing into bed he carefully moved the sparkling until he was laying next to him. He put a protective arm around him and fell asleep.

He was awoken hours later by the sparkling crying and he felt his chest feel weird. Sitting up. He held the sparkling trying to soothe them. While thinking about where he could get food for them. When his chest plates opened automatically and he found himself pressing the sparkling close on instinct.

He watched as the sparkling latched and it was like a switch went off in his processor. He relaxed bringing the sparkling closer as he drank from him. Feeling a bond form between them.

Once the sparkling was done he closed his chest plating and went to find things for the sparkling. When others on base realized there was a sparkling they helped him get supplies which he was grateful for.

He also talked with Optimus who gave him paperwork to fill out. Stating that he was the sparklings guardian.

He set up the crib near his bed. Wanting his sparkling to be near in case he woke up in the middle of the night.

He also got him some toys and worked on making him a traditional Nyonian blanket gifted to sparklings.

He loved his little one so much and would do anything to protect him. Since he had a sparkling so young he didn't join the others in battle and instead did other things. Like help Perceptor in the lab which he enjoyed. Seeing the scientist as a carrier who was a big help in teaching him him to take care of the sparkling.

He was sitting in bed. Singing his little one a Nyonian song, when his sparkling chirped looking adorable. His little hands reached for him and he pulled him closer, opening his chest plating to let him feed.

He relaxed against the wall holding him close as he sang. Only to be interrupted by an alarm which caused his sparkling to cry.

He felt the building shake and he clutched his sparkling close to his chest realizing they were under attack. He pulled out his knife just in case hoping he didn't have to use it. Not wanting his sparkling to see such violence at a young age. Even though they were at war he'd been hoping to spare his little one.

He closed his chest plating feeling guilty that his sparkling didn't get to finish eating, but he needed to get him to the safe room.

Leaving his room he looked around to see people running towards the fight. He went in the opposite direction. Deeper into the base where the safe room was. He tried to quiet his sparkling who continued to cry as the building shook around them.

Turning a corner his optics widened when he noticed Decepticons. He immediately ran away. Frantically trying to find somewhere where they could hide. Since they'd been cut off from the safe room.

He could hear shouting and blaster fire approach. His spark was beating loudly in his chest as he turned the corner trying to get away.

He ran into Soundwave who reached for him. He took a step back just out of reach. Trying to get away he turned around. Only to be blocked by Ravage who snarled at him.

He glared at Soundwave while holding his sparkling against his chest. Knife pointed at him ready to protect his sparkling until the very end.

Soundwave stared down at him menacingly. Obviously angry about something but he didn't care. He wasn't going to let him hurt his sparkling.

"Stay away from us."

His engine growled in warning and Soundwave reached for him again. He tried to stab him and Soundwave grabbed his arm. He then painfully twisted it until he was forced to let go.

He tried to take another step back and protect his sparkling. When Soundwave grabbed his little one out of his arms. He screamed reaching for his sparkling trying to stop him. Tears fell as he saw his little one in Soundwave's arms. He begged him not to hurt his sparkling who cried and screamed in fear.

"Carrier!"

Soundwave reeled back in shock as his sparkling desperately reached for him. Sobbing he reached back and managed to pull his sparkling away.

He held him close collapsing onto his knees in fear and stress as his sparkling clung to him, both of them crying. He used his body as a shield as he curled into himself.

He begged Soundwave to let his sparkling go. His spoiler shaking as he held his little one who pressed close wanting his carrier.

Soundwave grabbed him and forced him to his feet. He seemed to be lost in thought as he forcefully led him outside where the other Decepticons were retreating.

He was too scared of what would happen to his sparkling if he resisted, so he followed along. Letting Soundwave led him back to a large ship which would take him to the Decepticon base.

Maccadams keeps on foreshadowing and teasing Soundwave and Hotrod about their relationship

He groaned in annoyance glaring at Soundwave.

"I don't understand why Maccadams always insists we need to train together."

The two of them stepped into the elevator after spending the day training. Because Maccadams forced them to train. Stating that it was very important they bond and learn to work together. However no one else had to do it except for them. Even though everyone besides Perceptor wasn't doing anything.

"Maybe you're so annoying he wants you somewhere where he can't hear you."

He crossed his arms.

"Then I guess he sees you the same way."

The door opened and Soundwave pushed his way out first.

"No he wants me to watch over you because he knows you'll find some way to break the machine."

"No I won't. I don't need you watching over me."

"Really? For someone who acts like a sparkling I find that hard to believe."

Maccadams slid them both energon as they two of them argued.

"You know the Magnesium mountains are a great place to have a picnic and watch the stars."

They both gave him a confused look.

"What's are you talking about?"

"Oh... I'm just thinking out loud. You know we shouldn't let things like walls stop us from getting what we want."

"Okay..."

He quickly escaped with Soundwave the two of them making up an excuse to patrol the area. Not wanting to be around when Maccadams was having some kind of mental break.
