When Someone Is Depressed, Their Range Of Pitch And Volume Drop, So They Tend To Speaklower, Flatter
When someone is depressed, their range of pitch and volume drop, so they tend to speak lower, flatter and softer. Speech also sounds labored, with more pauses, starts and stops. Another key indicator is the tension or relaxation of the vocal cords, which can make speech sound strained or breathy. Too much tension or relaxation has been linked to depression and suicide risk. Depressed patients’ tongues and breath may also become uncoordinated, resulting in a slight slurring of speech. These types of vocal traits — called paraverbal features — are detectable in other mental illnesses too, including bipolar and post‐traumatic stress disorder.

dface
It’s kind of funny to me that sometimes when I go to type the web address for facebook my finger hits the ‘d’ button first and then I hit then ‘enter’ button way too fast and then I am sent to a search page for all things ‘dface.’
I'm like, ‘dick face. yeah. That's appropriate.’

I get the flu or something nasty when the season hits, every time it hits. It's been a repeating pattern since 2012. This year I'm giving modern medicine a try. Because, if I can help it, I am not going to let the flu drop my immune system on the floor only to have covid try and bugger me while I'm picking it back up.
