My whole family is some flavor of neurodivergent and tonight I've made 3 different dinners. I'm having juice for dinner because I've run out of steam. And am now spoonless for the art I wanted to do.

I referenced the scene where WWX puts the spring book in LWJ's book of poetry for the facial expression and hair. The words behind him say:

And what a tragedy it is to hold all this love for you and have no one to give it to. My arms are giving out, but I'm scared to put it down.

There is a hidden part of me which I keep deeply buried that cries for you in the night, that rewinds the clock while tightly clutching your hand, pulling you back through time all the way to my side. Stay there with me... please. Just stay there and love me.

One of my fave things in art is when they've drawn one hand elegantly and in detail and then the other is sort of this sketchy mess of movement, but somehow it works? I love that so much!

Some days are for creating. Other days, days like today, are for playing stardew valley and drinking warm tea in bed because the winter blahs are pushing into depression territory and I am taking care of myself.
